Alone in the Dark was going to be the series revival after a decade long absence, paired with what looked like a promising new entry to series. Many gamers were excited to experience the game on October 25th, 2023, but the studio has now made the decision to delay it into late January 2024.

The title has gotten a minor delay citing polishing and other improvements.
With the new release date being January 16, 2024, it is a quite the delay, but fans who have waited this long for the release won’t mind waiting a few months longer for a better quality product. Based on what we have seen of the game so far, it might be well worth the wait.
The game will be released on the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. It is set to put us in the shoes of two playable protagonists, each with their own unique story and adventure, allowing for players to have multiple playthroughs to make sense of the events in the game.
No fan likes to see a game delayed, but sometimes they are well worth the wait and truly help in making sure the game is in the best possible shape on launch.
