Battlefield 2042 Patch 4.0 – It’s coming

Battlefield 2042 is a journey that many players embarked upon in late 2021. It was supposed to be the series redeeming itself and earning back the love for the series from the feedback acquired from Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V.

However, as of late, the series has hit a big snag with the release of Battlefield 2042, with it hitting abysmal numbers months after its release, and no new update on Season 1 content outside of the promise of Summer 2022.

We have our first look at Patch 4.0, which is aiming to fix a lot of problems and bugs with the game and a lot of balance fixes:

The new patch will be available for all platforms on the 19th of April and will have no server downtime. Players will just need to download and install the patch to resume playing on the servers.

While these are some long-demanded fixes from the community, will it be enough to revive the community until the release of season 1 is yet to be seen, Battlefield 2042 is indeed a game that has a lot of promise and can be good, but it needs a lot of elbow grease for it to get to that mark.

What are your thoughts on the patch and is there enough in there for you to dive back in the game and give it a second shot? Let us know in the comments section below.
