All you American car lovers are going to love this listicle. Today, we’ll be taking a look at some of the best American cars in Forza Horizon 5 for different types of activities in-game. The list boils down to our 7 most favorite American picks.
We’ve tried to deviate from the standard “all-muscle” American approach and included cars of all categories to make the list as relatable as possible. Let’s get this show on the road!
Chevrolet Copo Camero – For You Drag Racers
Price: 205,000CR OR Auction House (requires Hot Wheels DLC)
Class: S1
Tune Code: – 475 339 863 (Anti-Lag Drag Tune)
1/4 Mile In: 12.50s ~
Introduced with the Hot Wheels DLC, the Chevrolet Copo Camero is an American drag monster waiting to be unleashed. It sticks to the road even when abruptly floored and quickly crosses the quarter-mile mark in under 12.50s.
We’ve got you covered if you need to look at some of the fastest drag-racing cars in FH5.
The Copo Camero comes with a 5.7L Supercharged V8 (very American, we know) and an RWD 4-speed transmission. The car looks quite chunky and doesn’t lose the American Muscle aesthetic even though it follows the Hot Wheels theme.
2016 Dodge Viper ACR – Best in S1 Class
Price: 150,000CR
Tune Code: 789 598 089 (All-Rounder Tarmac)
The 2016 Dodge Viper is the perfect all-rounder American sports car for all your road activities in Forza Horizon 5. It has a controlled liftoff, decent top speed, and stable handling. The car has a rather daunting 8.4L V10 engine, capable of pushing 645 horsepower.
The provided tune makes it even more optimized for Street, Circuit, Goliath, and Open racing in FH5. The engine sound of the Dodge Viper ACR in its stock configuration is just too good.
We’ve also included this car in our list of the best S1-Class cars in Forza Horizon 5.
Dodge Challenger SRT Demon – Sounds Dope
Price: 150,000CR
Class: A
Upgrades for Best Sound: Race Exhaust
As the name suggests, The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon already feels like an untamed demon, and that feeling is further amplified by its loud and gnarly 6.2L Supercharged V8. Put a Race Exhaust upgrade on this American beast if you want the engine’s revving pitch to be a bit higher.
You can easily complete the Hard Charger Skill in Forza Horizon 5 using the Dodge Challenger. Driving this car around the highways of Mexico feels awesome and lets you get a feel for its aggressive sound signature.
Mosler MT900s – Handles So Well!
Price: 320,000CR
Class: S2
Tune Code: 872 898 175 (Handling Focused)
The Mosler MT900s proves to be an amazing S2-Class American car with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 7.0L Supercharged V8 spools enough power to generate 530BHP.
Even with all that power, the Mosler is nimble and handles corners well. We’ve also included the Mosler MT900s in our list of the best S2 Class cars in Forza Horizon 5. This is an all-rounder car worth keeping and driving from time to time.
Hennessey Venom F5 – One of the Fastest
Price: 5,000,000CR ~ // Auction House Price
Tune Code: 178 151 886 (Top Speed Tune)
Top Speed: 310 MPH ~
Class: S2
The Hennessey Venom F5 is an American hypercar that lingers just behind the Jesko in top-speed rankings. You’ll have to do some auction sniping to find this car for cheaper than 5 million CR. This car, too, can break the 300MPH barrier thanks to its 6.6L Twin-Turbo V8 engine and 1817BHP.
Check our dedicated ranked list to see some of the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5.
While testing the Venom F5 with our top-speed tune, we noticed that it felt a tad bit better than the Jesko while driving at high speeds. The chassis weight here is even less than the Jesko.
Jeep Trailcat – Our Favorite American Jeep
Price: 75,000CR
Class: A
Tune Code: 143 796 153 (Cross Country / Dirt)
There had to be a Jeep entry on this list of the best American cars in Forza Horizon 5. We choose the Jeep Trailcat.
You just can’t beat the Trailcat in extreme off-roading. It is good for racing in the desert, cruising through the thickest jungles in Mexico, driving on top of a lava mountain, or performing off-road stunts.
Use the provided tune code to make the Trailcat much faster and enable it to compete in cross-country races.
Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evo – Another Off-Roader
Price: 500,000CR
Class: S1
Tune Code: 147 295 365 (S1 Rally Focused)
Are you looking for an American off-roader that handles well on dirt? Well, look no further! The 1986 Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evo is ridiculously good for Rally racing in FH5.
You’ll get off the starting line immediately without any lag. It doesn’t understeer in corners and has excellent acceleration and top speed as well. What else is there to look for in an optimal off-road car? Players who dominate the S1 Rally Leaderboards drive the Hoonigan RS200. You could call it a “meta car” as well.
