Additionally, this amazing Muscle Car has a top speed of 126.25 mph, which is extremely impressive for the Muscle Car category. And if you’re not sold on the prospect of drifting around corners at insane speeds, the Buffalo STX also comes with full weaponized capabilities.
Bewbauchee Rapid GT
The Bewbauchee Rapid GT is a Sports Car that was added to GTA Online as part of the original release of Grand Theft Auto V. The Bewbauchee Rapid GT has great acceleration and great control at low speeds. Therefore, this is a great vehicle for those just getting into drifting, as it is both cheap and great for low-speed drifting.
You can purchase the Bawbauchee Rapid GT for $132,000 from Legendary Motorsports. Additionally, this Sports Car has a top speed of 119.50 mph. This means that you can participate in some high-speed drifting, but it would not be recommended unless you’re skilled enough to control it.
Bravado Banshee 900R
The Bravado Banshee 900R is a Super Car that was added to GTA Online as part of the 1.32 January 2016 update and is one of the best cars within the Super Car category for drifting. The Banshee 900R is easy to control at high speeds, making it great for beginners.
You can purchase the Bravado Banshee 900R for a total of $670,000 from Benny’s Original Motor Works. However, you will need to purchase the original Bravado Banshee for $105,000 to upgrade to the Banshee 900R for an additional $565,000. Additionally, this amazing Super Car has a top speed of 131.00 mph, which makes it one of the fastest on our list.
Bravado Redwood Gauntlet
The Bravado Redwood Gauntlet is another Muscle Car added to GTA Online as part of the 1.18 PS4 & Xbox One Release. The Bravado Redwood Gauntlet has an extremely light body, perfect for high-speed drifting.
You can purchase the Bravado Redwood Gauntlet for $230,000 from Southern S.A. Super Autos. However, if you’re a returning player from a previous console release, you will have this vehicle already completely free! Additionally, this Muscle Car has a top speed of 117.25 mph. Whilst this isn’t exactly fast, the lightweight nature of this car means it makes up for it with great acceleration.
Annis Elegy Retro Custom
The Annis Elegy Retro Custom is a Sports Car added to GTA Online as part of the 1.37 Import/Export update. The Elegy Retro Custom is a custom variant of the standard Elegry RH8. Like any classic JDM car, the Elegy Retro is insanely good for drifting due to its acceleration and tire grip.
You can purchase the Elegy Retro Custom for $904,000 from Benny’s Original Motor Works. However, you will need to first purchase the Annis Elegy RH8 for $95,000. Additionally, this Sports Car has a top speed of 115.25 mph.
Benefactor Schwartzer
The Benefactor Schwartzer is a Sports Car that was added to GTA Online as part of the original release of Grand Theft Auto V. The Benefactor Schwartzer’s main selling point is its low-cost to high performance, offering the ability for significant drifting at a good price for beginners.
You can purchase the Benefactor Schwartzer for $80,000, or even steal it for free! Additionally, this Sports Car has a top speed of 117.00 mph, all for free! This makes the Schwartzer unbeatable for beginners because you can really start drifting in a great car for free!
Willard Faction
The Willard Faction is another Muscle Car added to GTA Online as part of the 1.30 Lowriders update. The Willard Faction is not only great for drifting, but being a Lowrider means that it is heavily customizable.
You can purchase the Willard Faction for $335,000 from Benny’s Original Motor Works. You’ll also be able to turn this car into a stylish Lowrider. Additionally, this Muscle Car has a top speed of 110.75 mph. Whilst this isn’t exactly fast, the Faction has great handling and control for clean drifts.
Schyster Fusilade
The Schyster Fusilade is another classic Grand Theft Auto V drift car, having been in the game since launch. Furthermore, this is a great beginner vehicle as it is extremely cheap and easy to drift with.
You can purchase the Schyster Fusilade for $36,000 or steal it from the streets of Los Santos. Therefore, this is another great free vehicle you can grab to start practicing drifting now. Additionally, this Sports Car has a top speed of 117.75 mph. Considering it can be obtained completely free, this is an amazing choice of drift car!
Vulcar Nebula Turbo
The Vulcar Nebula Turbo is the only Sports Classics Car on our list and was originally added to GTA Online as part of the 1.48 Diamond Casino & Resort update. If you want to drift in impeccable style, this is the vehicle for you!
You can purchase the Vulcar Nebula Turbo for $797,000 from Southern S.A. Super Autos. Whilst this is an expensive drift car, you can not beat the aesthetic of this beautiful car. Additionally, once purchased you’ll be able to reach top speeds of 101.00 mph. Therefore, the low speeds of this classic car allow for a high level of controllability when drifting.
Vapid Imperator
The Vapid Imperator is an armored and weaponized Muscle Car added to GTA Online as part of the 1.46 Arena War update. It is pretty much a drifting tank!
You can purchase the Vapid Imperator for $2,284,940 from the Arena War shop. Therefore, this is the most expensive car on our list. However, the price is more than worth it once you consider the weaponized customization that is available on the vehicle.
