It seems that the popular WWII RTS, Company of Heroes 2: Complete Collection is headed to Game Pass PC at a later date. The game had a new listing appear on the Microsoft Store and a teaser poster does confirm the game is headed to the subscription plan.
Company of Heroes 2: Complete Collection headed for Game Pass PC
It seems that Company of Heroes 2: Complete Collection is indeed headed for Game Pass PC. First spotted by users on the /r/GamingLeaksandRumours subreddit.
According to the listing, the game is only on the PC and also by a commoonly circulated poster for Xbox Game Pass PC, it shows Company of Heroes 2: Complete Collection box art at the top of the poster.
While the Company of Heroes series hasn’t had a new game in a while, it is good to see Game Pass owners experience one of the finest RTS games made in recent times, considering how fewer studios are still making games based on World War 1 and World War 2.
In recent times, we have seen the series make an appearance on smartphones (Android and iOS).
However, I wouldn’t hold out any hope of seeing a new entry in the series any time soon.
The last game Relic Entertainment, the developers of the series worked on, was a Warhammer title, and they are currently working full steam ahead on Age of Empires IV. As that title has yet to be completed, it is unlikely the studio will be returning to Company of Heroes any time soon.
If you are subscribed to Game Pass on PC, you should be getting the game very soon in your plan, and if you are a fan of the RTS genre, this is one of the finer entries you have to play.
The complete edition entails all the DLC with the game which adds even more content, play time and thoroughly helps enrich your experience in the well-crafted world made by Relic.
While we can’t pinpoint a precise release date for the game, just keep your eyes peeled for the next update to Game Pass on PC.
