While exploring the Lands Between, players will come across tons of enemies and bosses that will pose a threat to them. One such enemy is called the Divine Bridge Golem. That is why this guide will show you how to defeat the Divine Bridge Golem in Elden Ring.
This Golem is just like other Golems found across the map of Elden Ring. As such, you will want to use the same strategies and look for a similar attack pattern. However, if you are fighting this monster for the first time, you’ll want to check out this guide. With that said, let’s dive right in and get started.
Elden Ring: How to Beat Divine Bridge Golem
The Divine Bridge Golem isn’t technically a boss but since this enemy does not respawn after you kill it, many players consider it a mini-boss. Plus, the location of it is pretty unique which feels like a boss battle in the game.
If you’ve faced various Golems around the map before this fight, you’ll have an easy time since this is exactly like that. However, if this is your first Golem fight, you still shouldn’t have any issues because the fight is extremely simple.
Since this is an optional “boss”, you can completely skip it without any issues. However, if you are a completionist like me, you will want to defeat the Divine Bridge Golem and show him who’s boss!
Where to Find It?
While there are many Golems in Elden Ring, we will only be talking about the Divine Bridge Golem. As you’ve probably guessed by his name, this Golem can be found in Leyndell, Royal Capital. More specifically, you will find this enemy across the Divine Bridge before entering the Royal capital.
When you spot the Golem, you’ll notice that he is lying on the floor. However, once you get close to him, the colossal Golem will slowly get up and start attacking you.
Tips to Beat the Divine Bridge Golem
Luckily, this fight isn’t difficult at all. As you might have already figured out, this giant monster is extremely slow and takes ages to land an attack. You will almost always telegraph his moveset and avoid it.
Melee Build
Melee users will have a fun time against this enemy as you can kite around it and damage its weak spots.
If you use a two-handed melee weapon and attack its legs, the Golem will fall over and leave itself vulnerable to your attacks. You can land Critical Strikes on his chest and deal tons of damage to him. If you have enough damage, you can easily kill this Golem here.
The best part is that you can repeat this step to make it fall over again and again. Even if he starts to get up, make sure that you attack his legs again and the Golem will fall over without standing up properly. You can make him fall over in an infinite loop until you finally kill him.
Ranged Build
However, magic users will not be having such a good time against this enemy. To make the most of this fight, make sure that you use Rock Sling to deal physical damage to the Golem. It can be a bit tough to target its weak points and make it fall down.
However, make sure that you target the back of its legs with your Rock Sling until the Golem falls. After it falls, continue using Rock Sling on its chest to deal enhanced damage. Make sure that you keep your distance and always avoid all of his attacks.
Due to your low HP pool, you’ll most probably die instantly if you get hit by his attacks once. Unfortunately, the golem has an extremely long range that will kill you for sure. When you see him charging, run away and get ready to dodge.
Rewards
After finally beating this massive creature, you will want to know what reward you will get. Fortunately, the rewards are worth it and will help you progress through the main game by leveling up your character. Here is what you get for defeating the Divine Bridge Golem:
- 844 – 3927 Runes
The Runes mentioned above have a 100% drop rate. However, there are other items that can drop after you defeat this enemy. Here is a complete list of items that can drop from this enemy and the drop percentage as well:
Rewards | Drop Rate |
---|---|
Golem’s Halberd | 5% – 10% |
Golem Greatbow | 5% – 10% |
Great Arrow x5 | 50% |
Smithing Stone [1] | 5% |
Smithing Stone [2] | 2.5% |
Smithing Stone [4] | 5% |
Smithing Stone [5] | 5% |
Smithing Stone [6] | 2.5% |
Smithing Stone [7] | 2.5% |
Golem’s Great Arrow x5 | 5% |
Keep in mind that all of these rewards can be dropped by all the Golems founds across the Lands Between. However, none of them are guaranteed since they have a low drop rate.
Conclusion
That’s everything you need to know about the Elden Ring Divine Bridge Golem boss guide. This boss is relatively easy, especially for melee users. However, you might face a few difficulties if you are a mage or playing with a ranged build.
