After a lot of waiting, we finally have a release date for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2020 title Final Fantasy VII Remake. For a long while we have known that Rebirth had an Early 2024 release date, but now we have a date to mark on the calendars – February 29th, 2024.

The State of Play finally gave us the release date for Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth and fans are beyond excited for the title. The title will also be one of the few titles to ship on 2 discs for the first time in the console’s history, and we are sure this is something that can happen again in the future.
We get a brand new look at the story and what players can expect to do in Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth with the latest trailer that gives us a look at some familiar and new faces in the game.
The PS5 exclusivity will last until May 29th, 2024 according to the latest trailer. (Credit to Wario64)
2 Discs could also mean that the game will be a chunky install size when it does launch, so make sure you clear your backlog as best you can before the release of the game!
