Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is available now on PC and consoles, and we had a pretty good time with it. It’s developed on Unreal Engine 5, and while it looks great, the PC version is a bit lacking, especially when it comes to ultrawide support. If you want to fix the ultrawide issues in Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons remake though, here is how you can do that.
Fixing the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake Ultrawide Issues
The current ultrawide support in Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons isn’t there, and you’ll get black bars on the side in both gameplay and cutscenes. As usual, we have the widescreen community to the rescue, and this patch from Rose adds proper support to the game.
- Head over to the following GitHub link
- Scroll down a bit, and download the latest zip of the patch (199 KB) under Assets by clicking. As of writing, it is version 1.0. If you have HDR enabled, then you want to go with the first patch (with enforcer)
- This will download the zip file, which you need to extract using a compression tool like Winrar or 7zip
- Extract the file in the following location inside the game’s main folder
/Brothers/Binaries/Win64
That’s all you need to do, and the game will launch in proper ultrawide resolution. Here is a screenshot provided by Rose of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake running with the patch installed.
