Gangs of Sherwood is out now on PC for users who pre-ordered the Lionheart Edition. The game features both online and offline modes, as well as Steam cloud saves. However, if you have a bad connection, you might want to back up your progress by accessing the Gangs of Sherwood save file location.
Gangs of Sherwood Save File Location
You can find the Gangs of Sherwood save files in the following location.
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Hood\Saved\SaveGamesThe SaveGames folder contains another folder called Steam, which has all your save files. I recommend backing up the entire SaveGames folder when needed.
Faster Navigation
To quickly navigate to this location, I recommend using Windows Run.
- Open Windows Run by either pressing the Windows + R keys together or by searching for it in Windows Search
- Enter the following address, and press OK

Bad connection or not, I still highly recommend that you enable Steam Cloud for the title. The files are very small and you’ll be able to access those on your different devices.
