We reported the God of War Ragnarok PS4 File Size a few weeks ago, but it seems a more recent image has just hit the internet and we aren’t sure what to make of it, but for now, we are treating it as a rumor. The previous size reported was 90.6 GB, but it seems the game has put on a lot of weight since then. It is now a near 30% bigger than the earlier reported size.
God of War Ragnarok PS4 File Size – You’re gonna need a bigger SSD
Keep in mind, this could potentially be someone with an elaborate ability to photoshop, but it does seem genuine. Twitter user @lfnoelb somehow got the game early and is showing it off on Twitter, however, many people are less amused by the fact that they have an early copy, and more likely will notice the 118.509 GB file size for the game.
Keep in mind, this could be a hoax, but in the end, with how real the image looks, we can only hope that the final product really isn’t that massive.
We are unable to embed the tweet, so here is a screenshot of the users twitter account showing the image:
God of War Ragnarok is expected to be the biggest title of 2022 so far, but it seems it might be stealing the title in more ways than one. While we can’t comment on the authenticity of the image, fans who already freed up almost 100 GB of space for the game, will now have to free up an additional 30GB.
Keep in mind, Santa Monica has been very hush about the game, so it is highly possible that this will be a game that will come on two discs.
