Horizon Forbidden West is going to be one of the last games to offer the ability for gamers to get the PS5 version for the price of the PS4 version. The next PlayStation Exclusive which is Gran Turismo 7 will cost players $10 to upgrade. Sony just updated the pre-order for Horizon’s PS4 version to include the PS5 version too.
If you have been holding off on Horizon Forbidden West, it was worth it.
Horizon Forbidden West was already offering players the ability to get the PS5 version of the game for free if you bought the PS4 version, and vice versa. However, the offer is now more prominent in the PlayStation Store.
The base version (PS4 Version) now prominently displays that this version of the game now includes the PS5 version too.
To further verify it, the same is reflected in the Canadian PlayStation Store.
This means that you can now save $10 by buying the cheaper $59.99 version of the game and getting all the features and benefits you would have previously gotten with the $69.99 version of the game.
Horizon Forbidden West is less than 2 weeks away from release, and while the change is only recent and people may have already placed their pre-orders for the PS5 version for $10 extra, we are hoping that PlayStation Store will give these players a $10 refund to their wallet in light of this change.
If you have been holding off on pre-ordering the game on the 11th hour, this is your sign to pre-order the game for when you do decide to buy the PS5 version when supplies stabilize (hopefully) later this year, or in 2023.
With this new change in mind, now is the best time to actually place your pre-order for the game, and enjoy one of the best new IP’s on the platform and with the return of God of War Ragnarok later this year, it is going to be one of the best time to own a PlayStation console.
