Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is coming to PC later this month, and we finally have some technical details of the PC port. Nixxes and Guerrilla have outlined the official Horizon Forbidden West system requirements, and here is what you’ll need to run the game on PC.

The requirements cover a wide range of target resolutions and expected framerates on different presets. If you’re looking to play the game at 1080p with a 60 FPS target at Medium settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 3060 paired with a Ryzen 5 3600. If you want to go higher and play the game at 4K though, you’ll need something much beefier, like the RTX 4080.
Apart from that, you need 150 GB of free space to install Horizon Forbidden West, making it one of the biggest releases on PC. An SSD is recommended regardless of which preset or resolution you play at.
Horizon Forbidden West PC Features
Nixxes has confirmed that the PC version will come with the following features from day one.
- DLSS 3, FSR, and Intel XeSS
- NVIDIA DLAA
- DirectStorage support
- Unlocked frame rates
- Fully customizable mouse and keyboard controls
- Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for DualSense controllers
- Gameplay is supported in 21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide, and even 48:9 resolutions
