Even though it was deployed to fix some crashes and improve stability, multiple users have confirmed they are running into a flatline crash during the game, after which it doesn’t launch at all.

Thankfully, you can fix this by following the steps below.

  • Locate Cyberpunk 2077 in your Steam library, and right-click on it
  • Click on Properties, and open the LOCAL FILES tab

Verify Integrity of Local Files
  • Here, select VERIFY INTEGRITY OF LOCAL FILES

This will start a verification process, and possibly start a download. Be patient, and allow the verification process to complete, and for it to download the necessary files.
