Eternights, the dating action game from Studio Sai is now available on PC and consoles. The PC version runs decent enough for the most part, especially due to its low requirements, but there are some issues that players can run into. If you’re having Eternight controller issues, here is how you can fix those.
Fixing Eternights Controller Issues
Eternight has support for PlayStation and Xbox controllers with correct UI button prompts. However, to get the PlayStation controllers working properly
Disable Steam Input
As usual, the first thing you want to do is disable steam input entirely. This will make sure that only native profiles are loaded for the title.
- Make sure the game isn’t running
- Open Steam and then open your Library
- Here, right-click on the Eternights
- Select Properties
- Now, select CONTROLLER at the left
- Click the dropdown icon next to OVERRIDE FOR Eternights
- Set it to “Disable Steam Input“
DualSense and DualShock 4 PSA: Used a Wired Connection
While PlayStation controller support has been improving on Steam quite a bit, you’ll still need to use a wired connection to get the most out of your DualShock 4 or DualSense controller.
Check Detected Controllers (Steam)
Make sure your controllers are actually showing up in Steam too.
- Click on Steam at the top left corner of the client, and select Settings
- Now, click on Controller in the list at the left
- Your connected controllers will show up under “Controller” as shown below.
