Tails of Iron is an RPG adventure from Odd Bug Studio, and CI Games. It features combat similar to other soulslike titles, like Salt and Sanctuary. September has been a huge month for games, and tons of great titles are coming out almost every single day. It’s hard to get around playing every single game, but we’re glad these games are different enough and have their own audience. If you want to fix the Tails of Iron controller issue, here is how you can do that.
The game currently has Very Positive reviews on Steam from PC players. It also got positive reviews from critics and currently has a Metacritic score of 80. The game also features the popular voice actor of Geralt from The Witcher Series, Doug Cockle.
Fixing the Tails of Iron controller issue
The game runs great for the most part and isn’t very demanding either. The lack of ultrawide support is a bit disappointing, but apart from that, there aren’t many technical issues either. Some users have complained about controller issues though, and if you are one of them, here is how you can fix those.
- Open Steam, and then your library
- Here, right-click on Tails of Iron
- Select Properties
- Here, click on the CONTROLLER section
- Under override, select Disable Steam Input
Launch the game again, and see if that made any difference. If it didn’t, click on Enable Steam Input instead.
Steam Input is extremely useful in many games, but if a game has partial controller support, there’s a good chance for it to run into some issues. Tails of Iron has partial support too, which is why it can sometimes interfere with Steam input.
Hopefully, the developers can patch these minor issues, and maybe even add ultrawide support. More and more PC gamers are gradually moving to a wide variety of monitors, and ultrawide is becoming very popular. Developers have been trying to cater to these users, but there is still a long way to go.
