HypeSquad is an upcoming free-to-play fast-paced, close-quarters combat from Netmarble. The developers have previously worked on Paragon: Overprime, which was essentially built on the assets of Paragon from Epic Games, which was canceled back in 2018. Now, the studio is back with HypeSquad, which is coming to PC through Steam. The developers have showcased the game over the past few months with gameplay and character reveals. Now, more information is available, including the official HypeSquad System Requirements.

HypeSquad Recommended Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system

- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 4 GB available space
This isn’t a very demanding game, and it makes sense considering most free-to-play titles are targeting as many players as possible. Even if you’re looking to play the game at higher settings, you only need something like a GTX 970 paired with an i5-4460. The GTX 970 is a pretty old card at this point but can run a decent selection of other free-to-play titles as well.
Apart from that, you only need 4 GB of free space and 16 GB of RAM. It’s a bit interesting how small the storage requirement is, and it’s possible this will change when the game is closer to launch. There have been a few alphas over the past year, and the game runs quite well on various systems.
