What is the P-Organ in Lies of P?
You’ll be able to utilize any Quartz you have once you have fought the Mad Donkey, freed Geppetto, and then defeated the Scrapped Watchman.
Once Krat City Hall has been liberated from rogue puppets, you can then go back to the Krat Hotel to talk to Geppetto, who resides on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
He will explain how the P-Organ works. It can help you in unlocking new abilities and upgrades that will aid you on your journey through Krat.
You can use the red chair in his office at any time to view and upgrade your P-Organ using Quartz.
Using Quartz to Unlock P-Organ Upgrades
As you can see in the image above, your heart (the P-Organ) has quite a lot of upgrades. They are divided into three categories:

- Phases: The main cluster containing 4 groups of abilities. You need to completely upgrade 2 groups to unlock the next phase. There are 5 phases in Lies of P, which means a total of 20 groups.
- Groups: Each phase has 4 groups, and each group has a certain number of slots. The number of slots is not fixed. It can have anywhere between 2-4 slots. Assigning a Quartz to all slots in a group unlocks the main ability of that group.
- Slots: These are the sub-upgrades under each group. You can fine-tune each slot according to your need by assigning Quartz to attack, survival, item, or ability-type upgrades. It all depends on your playstyle and build preference.
This way of handling upgrades allows for a lot of build diversity. Players could have the main skill on the group unlocked, but some players might have completely attack-based slots while others might have chosen a more defense-based approach.
