The remake of LIVE A LIVE from Square Enix is finally headed to PC in April 2023. It initially launched on the Nintendo Switch but is now coming to more platforms, including PS4 and PS5. If you’re a fan of the original, there’s no reason not to try this because of how faithful it is to the 1994 release. We now have more PC specific details, including the LIVE A LIVE system requirements.

Despite being a remake, this isn’t a demanding title in the least, and most PC users should have a decent performance regardless of their configuration. To play at the “maximum” preset at 1080p with a 60 FPS target, you need something like an RX 470 paired with an i5-3330.

At 4K, I was averaging around 150 FPS on my RTX 3060 paired with Ryzen 5 3600 in the demo. The game supports multiple framerate options, including unlocked framerate, which is a welcome addition.
Apart from that, you need a total of 8 GB to install the title and 8 GB of RAM.
