Marvel’s Midnight Suns is easily an underrated title that was released earlier this year and garnered a lot of critical and commercial success. Today the game got a new announcement of new content, but between the lines, there was also a stealth announcement of the Marvels Midnight Suns Nintendo Switch Port getting the silent axe.
Marvels Midnight Suns Nintendo Switch Port Is No More
On the official site of the game, they announce that the PS4 and Xbox One versions are still coming, but later in the paragraph, they confirm that the Nintendo Switch version is no longer planned for.
Note that a Nintendo Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is no longer planned.
The game was supposed to launch across all major platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, similar to Hogwarts Legacy. While we aren’t sure about the reason for the cancelation, it could be too early to speculate that one of the biggest reasons for this might be the hardware limitations of the console that is now becoming more apparent with each new title release.
While it’s a shame that the port had to get a silent cancelation like this, fans on the PS4 and Xbox One can look forward to playing the title on May 11th, alongside the release of the fourth DLC – Blood Storm.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a great game that you should play if you haven’t already. It’s currently available on the Xbox Series consoles, PS5, and PC.
