A rumor earlier this week from Windows Central gave hint about Microsoft working on a Bethesda-centered livestream where Microsoft would show off its products for 2023. Microsoft has just made the announcement official with Developer_Direct and has so far confirmed all of the reports that the publication stated have evidently come to pass.
Microsoft’s Developer_Direct will take place later this month
According to their official blog post, Microsoft aims to have a show where they talk about all the big titles coming out in 2023 for the Xbox Series and PC. The highlights of the show include some of their most ambitious projects such as Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Minecraft Legends.
It has also been stated that a dedicated show that will entirely focus on Starfield is also planned for the future, which means we can safely dismiss the presence of the title from the upcoming show, but with 3 of Microsoft’s most anticipated titles already headlining the show, it will definitely be one that fans will look forward to.
In addition, there will be an Elder Scrolls Online presentation that will show off a brand new feature coming to the game this year, and will be shown live during the show.
While Microsoft had a quiet close to 2022, it seems that they are looking to ring in the new year with a loud bang that gamers won’t soon forget. Perhaps the event will be the place we will finally get a release date for Redfall and further updates on Forza Motorsport. Minecraft Legends is also another title many fans are looking forward to, including myself, so it will be interesting to see the event.
You can watch the event on the official Xbox YouTube and Twitch channels, and on the official Bethesda Youtube and Twitch channels at 12 PM Pacific Time, and 3 PM Eastern Time on January 25th.
