San Diego Studio’s MLB The Show 23 has been finally announced, and this time, for both Xbox and PlayStation platforms and the Nintendo Switch. The title is now available for pre-purchase and is slated for a March 2023 release. Here is the MLB The Show 23 pre-order bonus content you’ll get for purchasing it earlier.
MLB The Show 23 Pre-Order Bonus
If you pre-order MLB The Show 23, you’ll receive the Gold Choice Pack. The Gold Choice Pack differs in terms of content depending on which console generation you get it on.
If you pre-order MLB The Show on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or the PS4, the Gold Choice Pack includes the following content.
- 5000 Stubs
If you pre-order MLB The Show on Xbox Series S|X, or the PS5, the Gold Choice Pack includes the following content.
- 10,000 Stubs
- 5 Show Packs
Stubs are the in-game currency that can be used to purchase in-game items like players, cosmetics, and more. So, in the case of MLB The Show 23, you’re getting an early headstart with some stubs at your disposal that you can use in the in-game shop if you buy the last-generation version. You’re not getting any additional items like cosmetics or players like in other sports titles.
However, if you get the current-generation edition, which obviously doesn’t include the Nintendo Switch, you’re also getting 5 Show Packs, which contain different items like equipment and such.
