How to Unlock the Kastov-762

Unlocking the Kastov-762 is more straightforward than most of the guns in the Kastov-family line. All you need to do is reach rank 23, and the Kastov-762 will be automatically unlocked, Making the Kastov-762 a beginner-friendly, easy-to-pick-up, easy-to-master loadout weapon when you start.

Gun Setup

Having the ideal gun setup is helpful. Still, to fully maximize your potential, you need to slightly alter your playstyle, such as being defensive around corners and not going in blindly. Etc.

With this setup, you must be aggressive but not push in blindly. Clearing your corners before engaging will be helpful, as the Kastov-762 requires some time to reach full ADS. You can not use it as an SMG with the whole “Spray and Pray” attitude. You need to be one step ahead of the enemy.

Stats of Kastov 762

The Kastov-762 is a renamed AK47. It has excellent damage compared to other Assault rifles. However, to fully optimize the Kastov-762 Loadout to its maximum potential, you must upgrade your weapon level to 23, as it will unlock every attachment that will come in handy.

Optic: VLK 4.0 Optic

VLK 4.0 Optic

The VLK 4.0 Optic is best suited for the Kastov-762 as it provides a 4.0x Zoom, which will be helpful at long range. So looking at enemies across the map will be easy. However, it makes Aiming Down the Sights time a little longer.

Stock: KSTV-RPK Factory

KSTV-RPK Factory Stock

The KSTV-RPK Factory is the best stock possible for the Kastov-762 as well as this loadout, as it provides the best aiming stability and recoil control compared to other stocks. The only drawback you get from equipping this stock is reduced walking and sprinting speed.

Laser: Corio Laz-44V3

Corio Laz-44 V3 Laser

The Corio Laz-44V3 is a lightweight laser that increases ADS speed and overall weapon stability. The only drawback this laser faces is that the Laser beam is visible to enemies whenever you are ADS’ing, which reveals your location.

Muzzle: Kastovia DX90

Kastovia DX90 Muzzle

The Kastovia DX90 is a large suppressor that reduces the overall recoil and spread, all while suppressing the weapon noise. This muzzle’s drawback is that it reduces your ADS, walking, and sprinting speed.

Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity

7.62 High Velocity Ammunition

The 7.62 High Velocity is ammunition designed to increase bullet velocity, also providing high accuracy and range.

Class Setup

Perk Package

Now we will discuss your class loadout. Running this setup will give you a higher movement speed and a low stun rate.

Secondary: .50 GS

.50 GS Secondary Weapon

We will use a .50 GS, a Desert Eagle, for your secondary weapon. It is a two-shot kill pistol, proving very helpful when you run out of bullets and have to clear a room without reloading.

Base Perk 1: Battle Hardened

We will be using Battle Hardened as our first perk, which reduces the overall effect of enemy Flash, Stun, EMP, Shock Sticks, etc.

Battle Hardened is very helpful in holding objectives and overall rooms so the enemy can not have an edge on you with their tactical grenades.

Base Perk 2: Double Time

The 2nd perk we will be using is Double Time. Double Time quite literally doubles the duration of your tactical sprint. It increases your crouch movement speed by 30%, optimal for defensive plays.

Bonus Perk: Hardline

Hardline is one of the most overpowered perks, as it reduces your cost for killstreaks by one kill or 125 scores, which can be very helpful when you are aiming to call in VTOLS by playing defensive, not to mention a UAV can be accessed faster.

Ultimate Perk: High Alert

High Alert is the best ultimate perk for this loadout because it can alert you whenever an enemy is aiming at you outside of your view, which is very helpful in defensive plays as it can often let you know that you have someone aiming at your back.

Tactical 1: Shock Stick

Shock Stick Tactical

The Shock Stick is a crucial part of any defensive loadout as you can throw one at a doorway where you are certain someone is about to peek, and if they do peek at you, they will be shocked, and they’ll automatically start shooting in random places. And you can take him down because he will be standing there defenseless.

Tactical 2: Molotov Cocktail

Molotov Cocktail Lethal

The Molotov cocktail is a personal favorite since it is very overpowered and can often kill someone immediately when appropriately aimed. It can also help in clearing a room if someone is camping there, as it continues to cause burn damage.

Field Upgrade: Deployable Cover

Deployable Shield Field Cover

The Deployable Cover is the best field upgrade because it allows you to have a shield in front of you whenever, where ever you want. It can help you camp and stay defensive in spots you want to wait for a long. You can even mount your weapon on top of it to provide more recoil control.

Tips and Tricks

To ensure you have the edge over your opponent with this loadout, I will explain some tips and tricks to ensure you reign top. Getting used to this playstyle will help you with any guns whatsoever, as this is the best way to play this game (at least in this meta.)

To maximize your chances with the Kastov-762 Loadout, stay hidden and out of sight, but when you have to engage with an opponent, ensure you are the first to do so, as the Kastov-762 has a High ADS time. Be Unseen

Stay out of the hot zones on the map by staying on the outskirts of the less-known areas, which will help you get a good KDR. having a UAV will prove to be very useful here, as the enemies will never know you are hiding in the hallways. You can attack them before they even begin Aiming Down the Sights.

Use Tactical Grenades

The trick to getting out of uncomfortable situations is always to use your tactical, as they get replenished after death. Always use them. as they can help you escape a tricky situation. For example, if someone has you in his sights across the room, try throwing a Molotov in there. If that molly hits him, he is gone for good, and you can relocate.

Deployable Cover

Using your deployable cover on a corner of the room can often be life-saving. You can duck under it, be safe from enemy gunfire, and immediately get up and mount your weapon and annihilate the enemies shooting at you.
