The M16 has tremendous damage allowing you to rack up killstreaks and get you to the top of the leaderboard pretty quickly. It is a solid contender compared to the Kastov 762 and the M4. Now let’s get into the best M16 loadout, class setup, and attachments.

Unlocking the M16 is a relatively simple and easy process. You only have to level up two different weapons to unlock the M16.

How To Unlock The M16

First, you have to level up the base M4 to level 15. That will unlock the 556 Icarus. When the 556 Icarus is unlocked, you must level it up to level 12 to unlock the M16.

Gun Setup

Everyone can assign the attachments that look best theoretically, but what matters the most is how efficient they are when paired together. Do they all have an advantage, or do they offset each other? Because Gunsmith can get overwhelming pretty quickly. We have created this guide to help you through that and have the best M16 loadout possible.

With this Gun Setup, your play style will be defensive, killing enemies who are unprepared and not ready for a challenge. This mindset will net you free kills and quickly get you to the top of the leaderboard.

Stats

M16 Loadout Stats

The M16 Is an Assault Rifle, and it is best suited for medium to long-range combat as it features semi-automatic burst fire rounds instead of being fully automatic. This Assault Rifle allows you to quickly kill someone at long range because of its relatively low recoil.

It has excellent weapon damage and overall low recoil. So we will look at attachments that decrease the recoil and increase the overall weapon accuracy.

To Fully utilize your M16 loadout, you need to level up your gun to level 16, which will unlock most of the attachments we will be using.

The Cronen Mini Pro is a red dot sight. It allows you to get the edge over the opponents and helps you find the targets fast, as it has little to no drawbacks.

It lets you have a quick and precise unobstructed view of the opponents.

Having a decent well-thought Loadout is half the battle. Because the perks and secondary weapon that go side by side with the weapon is the final step, a secondary weapon that doesn’t help your primary weapon can be deadly.

We will be using the overkill perk that will allow us to have dual primary weapons instead of having a pistol as a secondary weapon. In this loadout, we will use Expedite-12 as a secondary weapon, a shotgun.

Secondary: Expedite-12

Secondary: Expedite-12

The Expedite-12 Is the best shotgun available in the game currently. It has severe knockback damage, and not to mention you have incendiary rounds available as an attachment. It obliterates anyone at close range, as the damage is one shot. This shotgun can be beneficial whenever you run out of bullets on your primary as you can immediately switch to your secondary weapon and knock out anyone pushing you.

Base Perk 1: Overkill

Overkill is the base of this loadout, as it allows for two primary weapons to be used. This perk can be game-changing, as the people rushing you will never expect you to have a shotgun, they will push you into thinking you have a burst-fire M16, but they will be surprised with a secondary shotgun at close range.

This perk allows you to have many lethal combinations, such as running around with a shield on your back and SMG.

Base Perk 2: Double Time

The Double Time Perk allows you to run faster and for longer. This perk can be beneficial whenever you want to push someone hiding in a corner or run away from potential outnumbering. It can change the overall tempo of the round as you will constantly outmatch your opponents.

Bonus Perk: Fast Hands

Fast Hands is also the cherry on this loadout, allowing you to switch between weapons faster. This can also be beneficial whenever you are outnumbered, as you can always count on your secondary weapon. You can immediately switch your gun and knock the opponents back whenever you are outnumbered.

Ultimate Perk: Ghost

Ghost is one of my favorite ultimate perks for this M16 Loadout, as it allows you to stay hidden on the minimap, UAVs, and heartbeat sensors. This perk will benefit you whenever you want to push someone hiding in a corner, and you can always sneak up on him. You will be undetected on the minimap.

Lethal: Shock Stick

Lethal: Shock Stick

The Shock Stick will help you hold objectives or clear objectives. As they shock the target, rendering him vulnerable to your fire, as they won’t be able to shoot back, this can help you mask enemy areas. They have a large radius and often shock people who aren’t close.

You can use it on doorways and know whenever someone crosses the entrance, as they will be immediately shocked. This Lethal can be good if you plan to camp on a roof and have information whenever someone approaches you.

Tactical: Molotov

Tactical: Molotov

The Molotov Grenade will help you clear enemy areas, as it deals incendiary damage to anyone close to it. This can benefit you if you are planning to enter a room. You can throw it in a corner. And, if it hits someone directly, they will be immediately killed.

The Molotov can also be used just like the shock stick, and you can throw it at an objective. If someone is taking, they will instantly be distracted or, better yet, dead.

Field Upgrade: Dead Silence

Field Upgrade: Dead Silence

Dead Silence is currently the best field upgrade in the game, as it allows you to mask your footsteps for a short duration, which, when paired with Ghost, is the ultimate treat for lurkers.

As the enemy will never be able to hear or see you coming, this can get you easy kills and quickly get you to the top of the scoreboard, and you can immediately start calling in killstreaks.

Tips and Tricks

To maximize your chances of winning with this M16 loadout, you have to follow some tips that will let you be on edge over the opponents, and this will involve slightly changing your overall game style.

This loadout will be slightly defensive and out in the open, as you can quickly get kills of unprepared enemies. These tips are used daily by pro players. So make sure to use them on your day-to-day games.

Be Defensive

Defensiveness is the key to this loadout, as it gives you the edge over unprepared enemies. You can quickly kill someone who is blindly pushing into the room. Because they will be unprepared for a gunfight, you will sit there waiting for someone to peek.

Be Open

Being out in the open might sound contradicting to the first tip, but it means that you should be lurking around the map looking to kill people who are aimlessly running around.

This will get you easy kills quickly. Camping and holding around the map will only reduce your chances of getting kills and dull the match.

Use Field Upgrade

Using your Field Upgrade regularly will help you in every aspect, as it allows you to mask your footsteps and sneak up on people. This will get you easy kills because they will never be able to hear you coming. Do not save your field upgrade.

Use Secondary

Use your secondary shotgun whenever you run out of bullets. Instead of reloading, you should always switch to your weapon because it is way faster. And you can immediately surprise someone who thought that you were reloading,

Especially at close range because this Expedite-12 shotgun is overpowered. It can help you get quick kills and save your kill streak if you have one going on.

Conclusion
