Grand Theft Auto V Online is packed full of interesting and unique content, vehicle customisation being no exception. The expansive and detailed nature of car customisation has made it a favourite among GTA 5 Online fans and players. However, not all cars were made equal! Rockstar has continuously introduced new vehicles that offer players greater and greater levels of customisation, as the years have passed. \

As a result, it can be rather tricky finding the vehicles that offer the most customisation in GTA Online. You’ve probably asked yourself a few times: what are the best cars to customize in GTA Online? To answer your question, in this article, we’ve collected the 10 most customisable cars in GTA 5 Online, as of 2023.

Pfister Comet Safari

Vehicle Class: Weaponized
Price: $710,000

The Comet Safari is a special variant of the not so special, Comet. Originally designed after the Porsche 911, the Comet Safari has over 50+ customization options. From skirts and bumpers, to roll-cages and liveries; the Comet Safari can be customized till your hearts content.

To purchase the Comet Safari, head to Legendary Motorsports. Once purchased, it can be modified at Los Santos Customs, the Avenger Workshop, or your own personal Vehicle Workshop.

Declasse Tulip M-100

Vehicle Class: Muscle
Price: $1,658,000

Originally based on the Chevrolet Malibu, the Tulip M-100 is a true throwback to the exaggerated and bold swagger of the 70s and 80s, with their crazy hairstyles and classic cars. The Tulip M-100 sports almost 100 customizable options, centred around Muscle Cars, and drifting. Players can also purchase Low Grip tires to help improve their drifting. However, you will need to purchase these from the LS Car Meet.

The Tulip M-100 can be purchased from Southern S.A SuperAutos, and customized at Los Santos Customs, or your personal Vehicle Workshop.

Annis ZR350

Annis ZR350

Vehicle Class: Sports
Price: $1,615,000

If you’re a fan of heavily customizable classic sports cars, the ZR350 is the vehicle for you. Originally designed after the Mazda RX-7, the Annis ZR350 is sporty with the classic feel that you’d expect from a car based on such an infamous motor-company. Additionally, the ZR350 has almost limitless customization options similar to those mentioned previously. Additionally, the ZR350 is a Tuner Vehicle, and therefore can be tuned at the LS Car Meet.

Head to Legendary Motorsports to purchase the Annis ZR350, and then to Los Santos Customs to modify. You will also be able to customize this vehicle at the LS Car Meet.

Pfister Comet S2

Comet S2

Vehicle Class: Sports
Price: $1,878,000

If you thought the Comet Safari sounded good, you’ll be even more impressed by the Comet S2. Another variant of the standard Comet, and based on the Porsche 992. The Comet S2 has, at least, 75+ customization options ranging from the cosmetic to the functional. The Comet S2, like the Annis ZR350, is a Tuner Vehicle. Therefore, you’ll be able to lower the vehicles stance and purchase Low Grip Tires at the LS Car Meet.

Purchase the Comet S2 from Legendary Motorsports, and customize it at Los Santos Customs and LS Car Meet Mod Shop.

Karin 190z

Karin 190z

Vehicle Class: Sports Classic
Price: $900,000

The elusive Karin 190z; based on the Datsun 240Z, and various other models. The Karin 190z, is one of the most customizable vehicles in GTA 5 Online. However, here’s the catch, you can’t currently purchase it. Well, not how you’d expect anyway. Among 180+ vehicles that were removed by Rockstar in one of its most recent updates, the Karin 190z is no longer purchasable. However, you will be able to purchase it from other players at the LS Car Meet.

Therefore, this vehicle is not only one of the most customizable vehicles in GTA Online, but it has become relatively hard to obtain, adding a sense of exclusivity.

Overflod Entity MT

Vehicle Class: Super Car
Price: $2,355,000

The Overflod Entity MT is a HSW Performance car, making it one of the most customizable cars in GTA 5, and one of the fastest. Therefore, it is no surprise that Rockstar based this vehicle off of the Koenigsegg Jesko.

You can purchase this outstanding Super Car from Legendary Motorsports, and customize it at the LS Car Meet Mod Shop. However, if you’re playing on PS5 or Xbox S/X you’ll be able to you’ll be able to purchase the HSW Performance Upgrades to further customize the Overflod.

Bravado Buffalo STX

Vehicle Class: Armoured Weaponised Muscle
Price: $2,150,000

Got a lot of enemies? Still want to get in on the car customizing fun? The Buffalo STX might be the right car for you. The Buffalo STX is based on the iconic Dodge Charger, and has roughly 100 individuals customizations. More importantly, you’ll have access to armour upgrades, and be able to weaponize the vehicle. For example, you can purchase Mounted Machine Guns, Explosives, Missile Lock Jammers, and Armour Plating.

Purchase the Buffalo STX at Southern S.A. Super Autos, and customize it at Los Santos Customs, or the Agency Workshop if you’re wanting to benefit from the weaponized capability.

Annis Elegy Retro Custom

Price: $904,000

Anything Benny’s Original Motor Works is bound to be chock full of custom parts, and detailed customization. The Elegy Retro Custom is no exception. Based on the Nissan Skyline GT-R, you can even re-create Paul Walker’s Skyline from Fast & Furious.

To obtain this vehicle, you will first need to purchase the standard Elegy RH8. Then, take the RH8 to Benny’s Original Motor Works to convert it into the Retry Custom. Once done you will be able to benefit from the extensive customization that Benny’s Original Motor Works offers.

BF Weevil Custom

Price: $980,000

Again, it is no surprise that another Benny’s Original Motor Works vehicle is among the most customizable vehicles in GTA 5 Online. The BF Weevil Custom is based on the VW Beetle Rat Rod, making it a fun and interesting addition to your garage. The BF Weevil Custom was created with destruction and customization in mind. Therefore, you will be able to customize this vehicle using unique cosmetics; such as Hood Spikes & Chains, or Roof Spikes and Fins. As a result, the Weevil Custom is sure to have more than 100 options to choose from.

To obtain the Weevil Custom, purchase the BF Weevil and then upgrade it at Benny’s Original Motor Works; once done you can proceed to create your perfect vehicle.

GTF Karin Calico

Karin Calico Most Customizable Car in GTA 5 Online

The Karin Calico is arguably one of, if not the, most customizable vehicles currently available in GTA 5 Online. As a Tuner Vehicle, the Karin Calico was built for racing and perfect drifting. With you being able to lower the stance and purchase low grip tires for this Toyota Celica inspired vehicle. Of course the customization doesn’t stop there, with a huge list of customizable parts: Bumpers, Cam Covers, Strut Braces, Exhausts, Fenders, Headlight Covers, Fog Lights, Hood Catches, Hoods, Dashes, Doors, Seats, Steering Wheels, Roll Cages, Liveries, Mirrors, Mudguards, and Roofs.
