Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Reveal Is Happening Soon
As we gear up for the latest entry in the world of Call of Duty titles, we have known for a while that Modern Warfare II is expected to be the latest entry in the series.
Starting with a statement from Tom Henderson regarding the reveal and release date of the game, Charlie Intel and MW2Ghost also went on record to reiterate the rumors.
Modern Warfare II will be a direct sequel to Modern Warfare (2019) and is essentially going to rewrite the prolific 2009 entry. It will reintroduce us to the series classic characters such as Ghost, Soap, and the gang from an entirely new story angle and will essentially be a soft-reboot for the series, set by the 2019 entry.
For the last few years, Call of Duty games have been revealed in the summer time, and while the connection of low sales of Call of Duty Vanguard have no connection to the games release in October, it’s been stated by the 3 insiders that they are in confident in an October 2022 release date for the game.
We are currently hearing a lot of rumors surrounding the game modes to be included in the title with one being the rumored DMZ mode which will be similar to Escape from Tarkov.
It is also said that the game will launch with a major tie-in event with Warzone, which is something that is obviously going to take place. Considering how a similar event took place for Cold War and Vanguard.
