Crash Bandicoot is expected to make an appearance at The Game Awards in a week. The official account is not known for its subtlety as they are the source of most of its own news, saving leakers the trouble for finding details. In Crash Bandicoot’s Twitter account latest tweet, they allude to something happening on June 20, 2023, or June 2023. Perhaps the release date for the New Crash Bandicoot Game?
New Crash Bandicoot Game release date publicly leaked?
Crash Bandicoot has had a heck of a resurgence over the last few years. With the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane trilogy doing a remake of the original 3 games, and the release of Crash Bandicoot 4 in 2020, the famous bandicoot is now more popular than before.
A few months ago, Crash Bandicoot sent out pizza boxes that alluded to an announcement that will happen at The Game Awards, via a date on the box directly hinting at it.
In the latest tweet from the official Crash Bandicoot account, they are sharing their Spotify Unwrapped numbers, however, the numbers are really suspicious here.
You might note that subtlety is not their strong suit, and that the time does add up to about 1034 hours. However, what is more interesting is how the numbers can also be interpreted as June (6) 20th, 2023, or June 2023.
While the game has not even been announced yet, this could be foreshadowing on their part for when the announcement does happen and they can use this tweet as a point of reference.
While all signs point to the long-rumored Wumpa-League game, we will still keep ourselves open to other ideas.
For now, what are your thoughts on what the tweet could be? Let us know in the comments section below.
