Broken street dates are a common occurrence in the video games world. It happened to Cyberpunk and many other AAA titles before it. Unfortunately, Resident Evil 8 appears to be the latest victim of this as the game is now available if you go to the right store and know how to buy the game. Even though the game has been spoiled to oblivion and back with the infamous Capcom leaks, the retail game itself now is also leaked.
A Twitter user by name the name of Kaiser499 has shared images of the leaked copy of the game.
They further provided images of the back of the game as well.

So far it looks like the PS5 version is the one that has leaked, but this could just as easily be the case for the PS4 version of the game as well.
While a plethora of content of the game has already leaked across the various parts of the internet, now is the time for players to exercise extra caution when browsing places where you know you will find spoilers of the game.
This includes places like gaming forums, YouTube video comment sections, and many other similar places where you are bound to run into spoilers.
For now, we highly recommend you exercise caution when browsing the internet from today onwards, because we can guarantee that as the release date draws closer, you will find spoiler images or comments in the most unlikeliest of places.
While Resident Evil 8 is the first major AAA release of the year so far, its a shame that the broken street date could ruin the experience for fans who have their physical copies still pending with their local retailer and digital pre-orders stuck with their respective online outlets.
