We initially reported that Spider-Man 2 could release in September 2023 when the voice actor for Venom spilled all the details a few weeks ago, it seems that Jason Schreier has doubled down on the release month too, and it also matches up with Sony’s Fall 2023 release date for the title as well. It seems the Spider-Man 2 release date could indeed be in the month of September 2023.
Spider-Man 2 Release Date Confirmed By An Insider
A few weeks ago, Venom’s voice actor did talk in detail about the release window for Spider-Man 2 on the PS5, but since then the rumor has been brushed to the back of our minds. However, Jason Schreier may have just confirmed that the title could indeed see a September 2023 release date.
The parent tweet stems from the earlier delay of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League that occurred earlier today, and with the September 6th release date of Starfield too, it is going to be a very busy month for exclusive titles on both consoles.
This could mean that marketing for Spider-Man 2 could begin at any time as we have scarcely seen any new footage of the game at all since the game was revealed back in 2020.
