The official Twitter account for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has just confirmed that the game has now been delayed to February 2nd, 2024. This confirms earlier rumors that the title would be pushed into 2024, and while we aren’t sure if the live service model will stay with the title, we can certainly hope that the game does get the attention it deserves.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Is Coming Next Year
According to a tweet from the official games account, the title will now release on February 2nd, 2024. This means that the game is now effectively out of the May 26th, 2023 release date and has now been delayed by 7 months. While there were fans who were excited for the title, a lot of them were turned off by the live service aspect of the title.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is a title that needs little to no introduction. The initial gameplay looked promising and while fans were able to forgive the coop for the game and learn to live with it like they did with Gotham Knights, the live service model is perhaps what caused a significant amount of backlash for the title. While we aren’t sure if this is one of the changes we can expect from the new release date, only time will tell if the delay for the title was enough to save it.
