The Outlast Trials is an upcoming first-person psychological horror survival game from Red Barrels. This entry introduces multiplayer elements, and you’ll be playing with your friends as you go through horrific trials at the Murkoff Corporation. You can still play alone, but based on what we’ve seen of the game so far, it’s obvious that it’ll be a lot more fun with friends. A closed beta will start today, and we now have more information about the PC version. Here are the official Outlast Trials System Requirements.

The game has been in development for quite some time now, and it’s nice to finally see what specifications you need to run it on PC. If you’re looking to play at higher settings at 1080p and target 60 FPS, you’ll need something like a GTX 1660 with 6 GB of VRAM paired with a Ryzen 5 3600XT. This isn’t too bad, and honestly covers the mid-range PCs quite well and should make up for most of the PC population.
If you’re fine with playing at 720P and target 30 FPS with low settings, you’ll only need a GTX 650 Ti with just 2 GB of VRAM. We hope that this indicates that there is a lot of flexibility in graphical options and that a wide variety of players can enjoy it. You will need 30 GB to install The Outlast Trials, and 16 GB of RAM is recommended.
