Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is the latest entry in the excellent cooperative adventure series from Frozenbyte and THQ Nordic. The title is supposed to be the “biggest adventure” yet for the franchise and continues to push the visuals in the 2.5D genre. While the requirements don’t mention the target resolution or framerate, this is a step up from Trine 4, which came out in 2019. If you’re looking to play this title at higher settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2070 with 8 GB of VRAM paired with a Ryzen 5 2600. The visuals are certainly impressive, with tons of animated parts on-screen with varied levels.

If you’re okay with turning down the settings, you’ll get by with an aging GTX 960, which we hope indicates the game’s optimization and settings availability. You need a total of 16 GB to install the title, and 16 GB of RAM is recommended as well.
