It seems that Infinity Ward may have begun the first round of teasing for the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Sequel that is expected to release later this year. This is normally the time we would start to hear news about the next Call of Duty entry, the recent acquisition by Microsoft may have thrown the schedule awry slightly, but the first teaser is already here.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Sequel is being teased
Only a few hours ago, Infinity Ward has made all their posts on Instagram vanish and take on a black profile picture, but a curious discovery in their twitter profile banner gives us a hint at what appears to be Ghost, who was teased in the ending of the 2019 entry.
The image is a little hard to make out, but focus on the top center of the screen and you will see someone who looks like Ghost.
It seems that Infinity Ward is being coy with their teasers, and while the last rumor was that the game could have been pushed to 2023, perhaps it is now time for Activision to tell us once and for all about the fate of the annual Call of Duty franchise and whether or not we will see the series move away from the annual entry model.
A lot of rumors and speculation have pointed that the next major Call of Duty game after getting two buffer games in between through Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, and Call of Duty Vanguard, it is finally time to chime in the highly anticipated Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) sequel to the masses and bring the iconic name back to the spotlight.
While details are scarce, it is worth mentioning that we are only a few days away from getting the full picture to see what lies in wait for gamers this year.
