The GTA Trilogy Remaster is shaping up to be more than a standard remaster. According to a now-removed Rockstar Support page, the game will bring a whole slew of quality of life changes to help make the lives of players a whole of a lot easier, including a favorite element from Grand Theft Auto V.
GTA Trilogy Remaster – A brand new package
We have already extensively covered the system requirements and the achievements for the game, but now a removed Rockstar Support page has given us further insight on what to expect from the upcoming remaster in terms of improving the quality of life updates on the remaster.
Once again, the source is alloc8or on GTA Forums.
“Three iconic cities, three epic stories. Play the genre-defining classics of the original Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas updated for a new generation, now with across-the-board enhancements including brilliant new lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting, and much more, bringing these beloved worlds to life with all new levels of detail.”
“By purchasing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition from store.rockstargames.com or the Rockstar Games Launcher by January 5th, 2022, you’ll receive a $10 discount on your next purchase through the Rockstar Games Launcher or Rockstar Web Stores on qualifying products of $15 or more (exchange rates apply). Discount expires January 16th, 2022. For complete details/terms.
The Rockstar Support page diverts to a 404, but with the track record of alloc8or, we can’t help but give them the benefit of the doubt with the source of the information.
It’s actually good to see that Rockstar isn’t shipping these games off as a simple reskin and has actually put effort into improving the outdated mechanics of the games to make them feel modern.
