2028 Xbox Console – A First Look

According to the final list of leaks for Xbox today, we now know that the 2028 Xbox console could effectively be a cloud gaming console.

While it is no secret that Xbox is leveraging xcloud to its fullest and has a great part of Game Pass Ultimate dedicated to the appeal of allowing players to play new games like Starfield and Lies of P without having their console with them, it seems Microsoft could be going full-steam ahead with what could be a fully hybrid console that would make use of its cloud-based tech to provide greater control to the player.

While details are still sketchy, it seems that the console giant will look to making the entire gaming experience possible on the cloud, and reduce all of the barriers to it as much as possible with the help of AI and Machine Learning (ML).

Even though all of this sounds great, the main caveat is that if you are in a place with weak internet or no internet, you may not be able to make use of these features. We don’t know the inner workings of this yet, so all of this is just speculation at this point.
