Jurassic World Evolution 2 is an upcoming management simulator both developed and published by Frontier Developments. The first title was a huge success in the genre, and the sequel is shaping up to be an improvement in every way. So far, it seems the release date hasn’t changed, but we wouldn’t be surprised if a delay does happen. Thankfully, we now have the official Jurassic World Evolution 2 System Requirements.
Fans can pre-purchase the game on Steam as well, and it is slated to come out on 9th November 2021. Unlike many other strategy titles, however, this game is also coming to a wide variety of consoles, both current, and last-gen.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 System Requirements
To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications
Jurassic World Evolution 2 Minimum Requirements

- Processor: Intel i5-4590/AMD FX 8370
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: (4GB VRAM) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti (Legacy GPU: GeForce GTX 960) / AMD Radeon RX 470

Jurassic World Evolution 2 Recommended Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64bit (min version 1809)
- Processor: Intel i7-5775C/AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: (6GB VRAM) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD RX 570 (8GB)
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 14 GB available space
First off, the game does require Windows 10, so until it’s officially out, we won’t know if it works on older operating systems like Windows 7, or Windows 8. Apart from that, it isn’t exactly a very demanding title. To max it out, you need something like an RX 570, with 8 GB VRAM. However, if are flexible with graphical settings, something like a GTX 1050Ti will be fine too.
The game requires 12 GB of RAM, and we highly recommend gamers upgrade to at least 16 GB in 2021. Finally, it isn’t heavy when it comes to storage requirements and only needs 14 GB to install.
While you’re here, make sure to check out the system requirements for Forza Horizon 5, which is launching next month as well.

i dont get how the cpu requirements have changed so drasticalyl since the first game,(8350 was considered max cpu requirement for first now tis not even considered minimum…makes zero sense) also why fx 8370 when it was discontinued ages ago and was worse performing than the 8350 which was considered max spec for the first game….seems like steams making specs up to me and folks are just going along with them instead of actually checking for themselves…..also what is so different about the game that such huge cpu changes were required?
Hey! I think for the most part, if you were able to run the first title, I don’t think you will have a huge problem with the second one. Steam doesn’t post these requirements though, the developers have to provide them. Also, the game did get a graphical upgrade, and it’s possible the complexity increased this time around too. I hope it is optimized enough, that it runs across multiple systems though 🙂
