Silent Hill 2 is an upcoming remake of the classic survival horror game from KONAMI. The remake is being developed by Bloober Team, which has worked on recent titles like The Medium and the Layers of Fear series. Silent Hill 2 was revealed earlier in KONAMI’s dedicated stream for the series, and now we have even more information. With the Steam page up, here are the Silent Hill 2 Remake System Requirements.

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.

- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 x64
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 | AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: AMD Radeon™ RX 5700 / NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50 GB available space
- Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device.
- Additional Notes: Playing on minimum requirements should enable to play on Low/Medium quality settings in FullHD (1080p) in stable 30 FPS.

- OS: Windows 11 x64
- Processor: Intel Core i7-8700K | AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® 2080RTX or AMD Radeon™ 6800XT
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 50 GB available space
- Sound Card: Windows Compatible Audio Device.
- Additional Notes: Playing on recommended requirements should enable to play on Medium quality settings in 60 FPS or High quality settings in 30 FPS, in FullHD (or 4k using DLSS or similar technology).
This is a fairly demanding title, and it shouldn’t be a surprise after the trailer we saw. Bloober Team is known for pushing the visuals in their titles, and The Medium was quite a looker. Here, if you’re looking to play the title at 60 FPS at Medium settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2080 paired with a Ryzen 5 3600X. This same configuration will give you 30 FPS if you play at higher settings.
Again, this is pretty demanding, and we’re glad DLSS is mentioned. Apart from that, you need a total of 50 GB to install the title and 16 GB of RAM.
If you’re fine with going lower, you’ll still need something like a GTX 1080, which will give you around 30 FPS on a mix of medium and low settings.
