Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is finally out on PC through Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Launcher. The game features cross-progression between consoles and PC including cloud saves as well. However, if you don’t have the best connection and want to back up your progress, you can do so by accessing the Avatar Frontiers of Pandora save file location.

You can find the Avatar Frontiers of Pandora save files at the following address on PC for the respective clients.
Ubisoft Connect PC
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<UbisoftConnectID>\4740
Epic Games Launcher
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\AFOP
Make sure to copy everything in the respective folders.
Ubisoft Connect can be quite buggy, and it can often take a bit to sync your save files. Despite that, I still recommend that you enable cloud saves because the save files aren’t that large, and as soon as you have stable internet those should sync up. Make sure the option is checked in the General tab of Settings in Ubisoft Connect.
