Back 4 Blood is the latest game that is coming from Turtle Rock Studios, the minds behind Evolve and the team that comprises of the talent that helped bring the Left 4 Dead series to life. Back 4 Blood on Game Pass could have been confirmed by a now unlisted YouTube video that confirms that the game is headed for PC and Xbox Game Pass on launch.
Back 4 Blood on Game Pass, never ending co-op
You wouldn’t be wrong to mistaken Back 4 Blood as a modern rendition of Left 4 Dead. While Turtle Rock’s last venture, Evolve, really failed to capture the audience’s attention, it seems that the studio has learned from the past and is looking to make amends with Back 4 Blood.
According to the game pass subreddit, one eagle-eyed viewer spotted this in the game’s description.
This means that owners of the Game Pass will be able to play the game on launch with no trouble.
If the game is indeed launching on Game Pass on release, it could be the momentum that Turtle Rock needs to sky rocket the game to success. Especially when the game is having a simultaneous release on the Xbox One, Xbox Series console family, and PC.
While there is no official confirmation yet from Microsoft or Turtle Rock themselves, but perhaps with E3 around the corner, it would be an opportune moment for either to make the announcement at the big stage.
4 player cooperative survival shooters have become a rarity with some games like World War Z and Warhammer: Vermintide 2 bringing interest back into the genre.

Back 4 Blood is set for release later this year, on October 12th, 2021. It will release on the Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, PS5, and PC.
