According to an app notification from the Xbox Game Pass app on smartphones, it may have accidentally leaked Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 coming to Game Pass. With the anticipated release of Baldur’s Gate 3, getting the previous 2 games in the series is definitely going to be worth the experience.
Baldur’s Gate Coming To Game Pass?
Many people got the push notification on the Xbox Game Pass app that said Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 are coming to Game Pass. A precedent of this happening is with Maquette, a push notification that prematurely announced the release for the game, and it released 8 days later on the service.
Whether we will see the Baldur’s Gate games come to Game Pass in the coming weeks is yet to be determined but a push notification like this should be a positive sign.
The original 2 games are praised as some of the best in the genre that have been overlooked. Both games have also gotten a “remaster” of sorts with enhanced editions being released, and these are the versions we will probably get on console and PC when the games do get added to the service.
