Battlefield 2042 was originally supposed to come out next month, but it has been delayed to November 2021. It’s not a huge delay, but the developers need time to finish the product, and given how bad things are because of the pandemic, it makes a lot of sense. Well, it seems that there is more than just Battlefield 2042 in development, as Battlefield Mobile Gameplay has leaked online.

The mobile version has been announced for some time now, and we can finally get a good look at the gameplay. Call of Duty Mobile is insanely popular, and there’s a huge demand for high-quality shooters on the market. It was only a matter of time before Battlefield did the same with their franchise.

You can watch the leaked footage below. It seems that multiple content creators and YouTubers had access to the game, and are already sharing footage online. You can watch some of that below.

Based on all these, it’s pretty clear that the DNA of the franchise is still in the mobile version. It looks and plays very similarly to the original games, and it’s nice to see the mobile version retain the feel.

We are excited to see how the game performs on a variety of mobile devices, and how far they can push the visual quality as well. There will obviously be graphical settings, and all that, which is pretty common now for big-budget mobile titles.

It will also be interesting to see how many COD Mobile players shift to this, and what the numbers will be in the coming months. Sure, the traditional COD gameplay is pretty addictive, but we haven’t seen the scale of Battlefield games explored on mobile before.
