The emergence of superhero films has skyrocketed these characters into the mainstream culture. They are as popular as ever before, and it was only a matter of time till they made it into Fortnite. Nowadays, there are numerous Fortnite superhero skins to choose from; it can get quite confusing.

Let me make your job easier by handpicking the 15 best Fortnite superhero skins. This way, you’re left with nothing to do but spend those V-Bucks.

Wonderwoman

Release Date: Chapter 2, Season 7 (August 20, 2021)

The Amazonian Diana Prince barely made the cut because of her pretty basic Fortnite skin. I’m not saying it’s not good; it’s just not as great as the others. Her default has her wearing her standard red and blue costume. The alternative copies her armored New 52 look with a blue body suit, red armor, and boots, and her Lasso of Truth. Her look does make for great Fortnite PFPs, though.

14

Hulk

Release Date: Chapter 4, Season 1 (December 9, 2022)
Price:
1,500 V-Bucks

Dr. Bruce Banner’s alter ego makes an appearance as one of the angriest Fortnite superhero skins. Hulk can be seen in his standard green monster-like form and torn jeans for bottoms. Recruit Hulk features more colors with a dark violet scarf, armband, and brown and violet torn shorts. Honestly, Hulk looks much better in Fortnite than in Marvel’s Avengers game, which is why we highly recommend the skin.

13

Dark Phoenix

Release Date: Chapter 2, Season 8 (November 12, 2021)
Price:
1,500 V-Bucks

The Dark Phoenix is probably one of the lesser-known characters on the list. However, Jean Grey does have an amazing superhero Fortnite skin, making her deserving of her spot. She wears her comic-accurate costume, which features a red bodysuit, golden boots, and gloves, with the phoenix crest on her chest.

12

Doctor Strange

The Sorcerer Supreme is one of the rarer Fortnite superhero skins on our list because of his Battle Pass exclusivity. Strange joins Fortnite with his familiar blue robe, goatee beard, and Cloak of Levitation. He also comes with a couple of colorful styles: Stealth Silver, Tempest, and Vivid. Surprisingly, this isn’t Doctor Strange’s first appearance in a video game. You can also catch him on Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

11

Groot

Up next is our favorite and lovable tree person/ thing/ alien. Groot has a very detailed design that captures the curves and edges of his trunk. Adult Groot is the base design with Silver Foil, Gold Foil, and Holo Foil as selectable styles. Baby Groot is also part of the set as a back bling.

10

Thor Odinson

The almighty Thor Odinson graces us with his presence, copying his Thor: Love and Thunder look. This is actually Thor’s second appearance as a Fortnite superhero skin, but the first one was a bit more generic-looking. Thor looks insane here, especially if you choose the Full Charge style with electricity sparking throughout his body. You also have the option of removing his red cape.

9

Storm

Release Date: Chapter 2, Season 4 (August 27, 2020)
Price:
Battle Pass Exclusive

Next, we have a weather manipulator in Storm. Her default outfit features a sleek all-white uniform with gold accents and the X-Men logo. Storm also has 4 alternate styles: Punk Storm, Silver Foil, Gold Foil, and Holo Foil. While her default skin may not be that stunning, her exclusive Gale Force emote definitely brings it up a notch. It features her using her powers to control the weather around her and conjuring a black cape to complete her look.

8

Black Panther

Release Date: Chapter 2, Season 5 (December 22, 2020)

$24.99 (Marvel: Royalty & Warriors Pack)

The one and only king of Wakanda takes the next spot on our list of the best Fortnite superhero skins. T’Challa highlights his black and gold Black Panther armor as his default skin. However, his way cooler alternative style is the kinetically charged armor, featuring a series of violet energy flowing through the suit.

7

Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers is a Fortnite superhero skin perfect for girl gamers. Captain Marvel’s default look is her blue and red costume with the golden star in the middle. She’s one of the most powerful Avengers. It shows with her empowered style, where she just radiates with golden cosmic energy.

6

Wolverine

Wolverine might be durable enough to help you get that Victory Royale. His Fortnite skin has a variety of styles, including his comic-accurate yellow and blue costume, the classic brown and yellow suit, and the Logan-based tank top and jeans. If Wolverine already looks this good in Fortnite, imagine how great he’ll look in Marvel’s Wolverine game.

5

Spider-Man (Miles Morales)

Release Date: Chapter 4, Season 2 (May 23, 2023)

Miles Morales gives Peter Parker a run for his money on our list. You know what they say: a great suit comes with a great Fortnite superhero skin. Miles can be seen web-slinging using his trademark black and red spidey suit. Of course, he sometimes needs a breather, removing the mask in his alternate style.

4

Spider-Gwen

Release Date: Chapter 3, Season 4 (September 18, 2022)
Price:
Battle Pass Exclusive

In a sudden turn of events, Spider-Gwen joins the web-slinging party on Fortnite. She runs around, or more accurately swings around, in her white, pink, and black hooded spider suit. Her alternate style has her showing off her blonde hair and face. Spider-Gwen also comes with a couple of Superlevels, namely Celestial, Spectral, and Aurelian.

3

Batman Zero

Release Date: Chapter 2, Season 6 (May 5, 2021)
Price:
1,500 V-Bucks
Last Seen in Shop:

Batman has no shortage of superhero skins in Fortnite. He has a total of four Batman-based skins, but we ended up choosing Batman Zero. The Batman Zero skin just brings our beloved batsy down to the basics, showing his true grit and willpower. It still features elements from Batman’s design, along with a few of his remaining gadgets.

2

Tony Stark

Release Date: Chapter 2, Season 4 (August 27, 2020)
Price:
Battle Pass Exclusive

What is Tony Stark without his Iron Man armor? Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and Fortnite superhero skin. He appears in his black tracksuit by default. Luckily, he does bring the Iron Man armor through a variant. There are also a couple of styles if you’re looking to add more variety to the skin.

1

Superman

Release Date: Chapter 2, Season 7 (June 8, 2021)
Price:
Battle Pass Exclusive

The Man of Steel is nearly impossible to defeat, both in terms of comics and in Fortnite superhero skins. He might need to change that name to Man of Style as he struts in a full-on gray suit with a white shirt and red tie as Clark Kent. Once he suits up in his legendary blue and red spandex, it’s over. Equip the Shadow colorway, and there’s just no competition as to how clean this skin looks.

Summing It Up

It goes without saying that Superman definitely steels (get it?) the show with his superhero skin in Fortnite. It’s just tough to beat when you’ve got that black suit, waving cape, and glowing white eyes staring into your soul.
