Now that you’ve upgraded your game, it is time to upgrade your garage! There are many fast vehicles in GTA 5 Online, but are you aware that Rockstar has added several vehicles that can now benefit from upgrades that turn them into unbeatable Super Cars? In this article, we have compiled the 6 best HSW cars available in GTA 5 and ranked them by their speed.
Without further ado, let’s get upgrading!
What is Hao’s Special Works, and How Do You Access it?
With the re-release of Grand Theft Auto V for next-gen consoles, Rockstar decided to not only release GTA 5 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/S but to completely overhaul the game for next-gen hardware. As part of the Expanded & Enhanced Edition, next-gen exclusive cars and features were added to the game. One of the major additions to GTA 5 Online, was Hao’s Special Works. Like Los Santos Customs, Hao’s Special Works is another auto business, centered around car customization and upgrading.
Hoa’s Special Works does not have its own specific location, instead, you’ll need to head to the LS Car Meet. Here among the other attendants, you’ll find Hao. Once you’re interacting with Hao’s Special Works you’ll be able to access and purchase any of the upgrades for your vehicle.
However, you will need to ensure that your vehicle is HSW compatible, as not every car in the game has access to these upgrades. There are currently 15 HSW vehicles in the game, including one motorbike (the Shitzu Hakuchou Drag). Once, you’ve purchased one of the convertible vehicles, you’ll have the option to convert it to the HSW version. After this, you’ll be able to purchase all HSW performance upgrades.
6 Fastest HSW Cars in GTA 5
Declasse Vigero ZX
Top Speed: 157.50 mph
By far the fastest car in the entirety of GTA 5 Online, the Declasse Vigero ZX has no competition when it comes to burning serious rubber and hitting incredible speeds. Initially free for GTA+ subscribers during the month of September 2022, you’ll be kicking yourself for missing out on this amazing HSW car.
The Declasse Vigero ZX was originally added to the game as part of the 1.61 Criminal Enterprises update and can be purchased from Southern S.A. Super Autos for $1,947,000. This Chevrolet Camaro-based car can reach top speeds of 157.50 mph once converted and upgraded using HSW improvements. The HSW Performance Upgrade will cost you an additional $550,000, but this is more than worth it when you consider you’ll be going from 125 mph to 157.50 mph!
Benefactor Stirling GT
Top Speed: 156.80 mph
Less than a mile per hour slower and almost $1,000,000 cheaper! The Benefactor Stirling GT is a phenomenal car, looking like something straight out of a James Bond film. But, you’ll have to slow down once in a while, so everyone can see just how stylish your new HSW car is.
The Benefactor Stirling GT was originally added to GTA Online as part of the 1.27 Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update and can be purchased from Legendary Motorsports for $975,000. This Mercedes Benz-based car can reach impressive top speeds of 156.80 mph once you’ve converted it using the HSW Performance Improvement. However, the HSW Performance Improvement will cost you an additional $900,000, but we think this is more than worth it considering the classic appearance of the Stirling GT.
Top Speed: 155.50 mph
A truly next-gen vehicle! The Karin S95 was added to GTA Online alongside the 1.59 PS5 & Xbox Series X/S Release. Therefore, you know that you’re getting that real next-gen performance from this brilliant HSW Sports Car.
The Karin S95 can be purchased from Southern S. A. Super Autos for $1,995,000, making it one of the more expensive cars on this list. However, the vehicle is completely free for those that have migrated their old-gen GTA 5 characters to their next-gen consoles! Therefore, you could have one of the fastest cars in GTA 5 Online completely free. Upgrading the Karin S95 with the HSW Performance Upgrade will cost you an additional $525,000. But once upgrade, you’ll be able to reach speeds of 155.50 mph, and besides, if you got the car for free it works out very cheap.
Top Speed: 153.00 mph
The Bravado Banshee is by far the cheapest vehicle on our list, and considering its performance, any player wanting to save a quick buck should seriously consider the Bravado Banshee.
The Bravado Banshee is a classical Grand Theft Auto V vehicle, based on the Dodge Viper, having been part of GTA Story & Online since the game’s launch. You can purchase the Banshee from Legendary Motorsports for $105,000. However, if you purchased the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack, you’ll have received this car for free. Furthermore, purchasing the HSW Improvement Upgrade will cost you an additional $1,840,000! But, if you managed to get this car for free, or even for the low price point, it is definitely worth it, considering its top speed of 153.00 mph.
Principe Deveste Eight
Top Speed: 151.75 mph
You’ll leave your rivals Deveste-Eighted when they see you fly past them in this HSW Super Car! If you’re a fan of that billionaire supercar aesthetic, this Mazda Furai-based HSW car is the one for you.
The Principe Deveste Eight was added to GTA Online as part of the 1.46 Arena War update and can be purchased from Legendary Motorsports for $1,795,000. Whilst boasting an impressive stock speed of 131.75 mph, with the HSW Improvement Upgrade you’ll reach speeds of up to 151.75 mph. However, upgrading this vehicle will cost you an additional $1,110,000. This makes it one of the more luxurious cars on our list, which is fitting for its opulent appearance. But, if you were a GTA+ subscriber during April of 2022 you will already have this vehicle for free.
Overflod Entity MT
Top Speed: 150.50 mph
The Overflod Entity MT might make your bank hurt, but at least people will know you’ve got the money to recklessly spend! If you like expensive Super Cars, this Koenigsegg Jesko-based HSW car is a must-have.
The Overflod Entity MT was added to GTA Online as part of the 1.64 LS Drug Wars update and can be purchased from Legendary Motorsports for $2,355,000. Like the Deveste Eight, the Overflod boasts an incredible 131.25 mph straight off the lot. However, once you have purchased the HSW Improvement Upgrade, for an additional $850,000, you will reach speeds of 150.50 mph! This makes it, without a doubt, the most expensive HSW car on this list. Therefore, whether you purchase it over others will be determined by aesthetic preference, as this is a truly magnificent-looking Super Car.
