If you plan to go for a Faith build and use Incantations, having the ideal Sacred Seal can help greatly. Different seals offer buffs to various types of Incantations like the Dragon-based spells or Godslayer’s spells. That is why this guide will show you all the best Sacred Seals in Elden Ring.

Even if you do not want to go for a full Faith build, you can try out various Sacred Seals to use random Incantations. Since there are tons of options in the game, might as well try out some of them, right? With that said, let’s dive right in and get started.

1

Erdtree Seal

Erdtree Seal

The best Sacred Seal in Elden Ring is easily the Erdtree Seal. It can be looted from a corpse located in Volcano Manor. The fastest way to get here is to start Rya’s quest line. Get her necklace and then find her on top of the Grand Lift of Dectus. She will take you to the manor where you can find this item.

Players looking to go for a complete Faith build will love this seal since it offers tons of damage. While it doesn’t buff any particular type of Incantation, you can gain a lot of damage by upgrading the Erdtree Seal. However, keep in mind that you need to have at least 40 Faith to properly use this.

2

Clawmark Seal

Thanks to its low stat requirement, you can use this seal early in the game. It offers a great alternative to your Finger Seal since it enhances all beast-type spells. Plus, you can use it if you want to go for a hybrid melee build.

To get it, you need to get a Deathroot and give it to D, Hunter of the Dead back at the Roundtable Hold. This will unveil the location of a teleporter that will take you straight to Caelid. Now, you need to interact with Guranq the Beast Clergyman.

After giving him one Deathroot, you can get the Clawmark Seal and start buffing your Beast Incantations. Since it only requires 4 Strength and 10 Faith to use, you can start using it as soon as you get it.

3

Dragon Communion Seal

The Dragon Communion Seal is one of the most popular choices for many players dabbling into Incantations in Elden Ring. As the name suggests, it boosts all your Dragon Incantations which are quite strong on their own as well.

If you are familiar with Dragon Incantations, you’ll know how important it is to level up your Faith and Arcane. So, use this seal to further enhance your damage and potentially one-shot most enemies. This can take a lot of players by surprise during a PvP battle.

Keep in mind that you need to gather Dragon Hearts to unlock new Incantations from the Dragon Communion Church. This can be a hassle since certain dragons can be extremely difficult depending on your build.

4

Godslayer’s Seal

The Godslayer’s Seal is one of my favorite Sacred Seals in Elden Ring. As the name suggests, it boosts your Godslayer Incantations which are extremely fun to use on their own. You can find this item in Stormveil Castle if you have a spare Stonesword Key on hand.

However, to use it, you need to have 4 Strength and 27 Faith. So, make sure that you level up your Faith quite a bit if you want to make the best use of this seal. This is the primary reason why it isn’t higher on the list. You will have to level up your Faith stat a lot and ignore other stats for the time being.

If you are going for a full Faith build, then this seal will be extremely useful for you. However, for hybrid users, you might want to test out other weapons on this list.

5

Golden Order Seal

Moving on to the Golden Order Seal, it requires 17 Faith and 17 Strength to properly equip. You can find it near the Minor Erdtree Church Site of Grace found in the Royal Capital. This seal is ideal for hybrid casters that want to use both Incantations and Sorceries.

It boosts all your Fundementalist Incantations which is a great thing. However, if you have used those types of Incantations like Radagon’s Rings of Light, you’ll know how difficult it is to cast it – especially in PvP.

Still, this is a great seal for you to try in the mid to late game. Plus, the stats it offers after getting upgraded are superb.

6

Gravel Stone Seal

You can find the Gravel Stone Seal in Leyndell – making it a late-game weapon. If you are someone that loves using lightning Incantations, you will want to get this seal as soon as possible. However, getting it is easier said than done. You will have to defeat a strong knight in the Royal Capital.

The enemy is quite difficult and can often one-shot you with his combos. Requiring 18 Faith and 4 Strength to properly use, the Gravel Stone Seal is absolutely worth getting.

7

Frenzied Flame Seal

If you are an avid user of Frenzied Flame Incantations, you will definitely want to pick up the Frenzies Flame Seal. The best part is that this seal allows you to quickly build up Madness which is a great tool against other players in PvP. However, that can be quite situational which is why this isn’t higher on the list.

Plus, you do not need to meet any stat requirements to equip this seal. On top of that, this seal is great for players that are looking for a versatile build that includes intelligence, faith, strength, and dexterity.

8

Giant’s Seal

The Giant’s Seal is a great weapon to have in your arsenal as it boosts your Giants’ Flame Incantations. Requiring 14 Faith and 4 Strength to use, you can start using it as soon as you find it. However, you can get it late in the game after going to the Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grave and defeating the Fire Monk.

Initially, the scaling on this seal isn’t eye-catching. In fact, it is quite similar to the starting seal – Finger Seal. However, after upgrading it a bit, you can make the most out of it. Since you find it extremely late in the game, players often expect to get a powerful weapon.

9

Finger Seal

Finally, let’s talk about the Finger Seal. This item is given to the Confessor and Prophet classes from the start. While it offers decent stats during the game’s earlier stages, you should try to replace it as soon as possible. However, it doesn’t provide any buffs to any type of Incantations, making it quite weak later on.

If you want to use Incantations occasionally to try them out, this is a good seal. Since it is easily obtainable and can be upgraded easily as well, you can pick it up to use random Incantations in the game.

Conclusion

And there you have it; those are the best Sacred Seals in Elden Ring. If you are going for a Faith build that revolves around incantations, you should pick up one of the seals mentioned above. Depending on your incantations, you can boost your damage significantly.
