Cocoon was shown at the Day of the Devs showcase after the Summer Game Fest last night, and it has a very unique idea. Players can instantly travel from within worlds to another in a second to solve puzzles, fight bosses, and more. It seems like one of the more interesting titles to come out of the presentation.
Cocoon Takes World Building To New Heights
As we have seen in the gameplay, Cocoon is a new title that has a lot of promise. It was revealed during Day of the Devs showcase and features a lot of talent behind Limbo and INSIDE. The game has a very interesting feature where players can jump in and out of worlds to get a new perspective, solve puzzles, and do much more. It’s multi-layered, detailed, and will really make you scratch your head at some parts.
While the title does not have a release date yet, it is set for release later in 2023 and will see release on the PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
If you are a fan of puzzle games that also offer a unique twist such as the perspective-shifting aspect of the game, this might be worth keeping on your wishlist. It looks like a title with a lot of promise.
