COCOON is out now on PC, and supports cloud saves on Steam, as well as the Xbox App. While this is a great way to ensure your progress isn’t lost, if you have a bad connection, or prefer to play offline, it can be a problem. If you want to back up your progress, here is the COCOON save file location on your PC.
COCOON Save File Location
You can access the COCOON save files by heading over to the following folder on your PC.
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\GeometricInteractiveHere, you can back up the entire COCOON folder, which includes all your saved data.
Faster Navigation
To quickly navigate to this location, I recommend using Windows Run.
- Open Windows Run by either pressing the Windows + R keys together or by searching for it in Windows Search
- Enter the following address, and press OK
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\GeometricInteractive\
Your best bet is to still rely on cloud saves, and make sure those are enabled for COCOON in Steam.
