Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is an upcoming third-person story-driven survival horror game from Invader Studios and Leonardo Interactive. This is a prequel to the highly popular title Daymare 1998. Players will be taking on the role of agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy now in the service of H.A.D.E.S. The title was revealed recently and is coming to multiple platforms including PC. To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.

- Processor: Intel®Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FX-6300 or better
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x with 2 GB Video RAM
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 23 GB of available space

- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: WINDOWS 7, 8, 8.1, 10 (64-BIT Required)
- Processor: Intel®Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-9590 or better
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480 with 3GB VRAM
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 23 GB of available space
The requirements revealed so far are actually identical to Daymare 1998. It’s a bit strange how these are the same requirements even though the new title looks better graphically. It’s been 3 years since the first game came out, so I was expecting a bump in the requirements at least.
Either way, the game recommends a GTX 1060, or the RX 480, both of which are still very popular in the PC gaming space. For the CPU, you need something like an i7-3770, or an i5-4460 if you’re okay with turning down some settings. Apart from that, you’ll need 8 GB of RAM, and 23 GB of free space. I believe part of these requirements will change near release, especially the storage space requirements.
