The Dead Space launch trailer is here and it is a roller coaster ride of explosions, twists, and turns as you take on the role of Isaac Clarke. While this title is a remake of the 2008 original title from Visceral Games, it is also a brand-new game with a whole new identity. Have a look at some of the few surprises that await you when the game launches later this month.

Dead Space launch trailer is a thrill-packed ride

Dead Space got a much-needed revival in the best possible way – a full-fledged remake akin to the recent treatment Capcom has given Resident Evil 2 and 3. With the original trilogy coming to a close in 2013 with the release of Dead Space 3, Ever since then, the series was put in cryosleep, but now the remake is looking to bring the once iconic third-person horror title back to the modern day with a boat load of bells and whistles.

The launch trailer takes us to a plethora of familiar sights and sounds across the USG Ishimura, but there are a few key differences here that were not part of the adventure 15 years ago. Some of the key differences here are Isaac being fully voiced, which did not happen until the title’s second entry in 2011. In addition, players now have access to choosing how their adventure goes with a few new systems.

With the addition of circuit breakers, players now have to choose between a single utility – in one of the gameplay clips, players had to choose between having the lights on, or oxygen. In addition, there is a new AI director called the Intensity Director, which like it sounds, can determine how much action should be on your screen and help determine when you need a break versus when things are too quiet.

Aside from that, there are a plethora of other neat gameplay details in the game to make it feel like a brand-new entry to the series rather than a remake. In addition, the game is exclusive to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, meaning there is no holding back the graphical quality allowing for greater visual fidelity! The game is releasing on January 27th, 2023.
