Dead Space, one of the modern classic horror titles from Visceral Games, is being remade entirely by Motive Studio. It’s an impressive effort that looks incredible based on the footage we’ve seen so far and, despite early concerns, looks quite true to the original. Motive Studios have added many new technical features, including voice acting for appropriate scenes. Now with the title available for pre-order on various storefronts, here are the official Dead Space Remake System Requirements.

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.

- Processor: Ryzen 5 2600x, Core i5 8600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: AMD RX 5700, GTX 1070
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 50 GB available space

- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit +
- Processor: Ryzen 5 5600X, Core i5 11600K
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Radeon RX 6700 XT, Geforce RTX 2070
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 50 GB available space
It’s no surprise that the title is fairly demanding, especially if these requirements are targeting 1080p and 60 FPS. If you’re looking to play the title at higher settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2070 paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X.
Both of these components are fairly powerful, and we’re very interested to see how well these perform at higher resolutions like 1440p and 4K.
Even on the lower side you need a GTX 1070, which is a fairly competent card even now for 1080p gaming.
You need a total of 50 GB to install the title and 16 GB of RAM. The original Dead Space was around 12 GB on PC, so it’s quite a jump, which is expected with the level of fidelity the developers are targeting.

The title is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 on 27 Jan 2023.
