These two Brigand’s Law god rolls are a treat for any big fans of sidearms out there. It’s one of the best sidearms in Destiny 2 for PvE right now, and it’s certainly able to hold its own in PvP. These Brigand’s Law god rolls aim to bring out the weapon’s potential in both gamemodes.
I’m going to go over each roll perk-by-perk, breaking down why I’ve chosen what I’ve chosen. Also, keep in mind that a range Masterwork will do this weapon wonders. Masterworks aren’t too important, typically, but it does help quite a bit here.

Sidearms are one of the few weapon types that can afford to sacrifice Arrowhead Break for something that adds more range like Small Bore, or in this case, Fullbore. I’ve opted for Fullbore over the latter because Brigand’s Law has atrocious range that needs all the help it can get, even at the expense of other stats.
My reasoning for Accurized Rounds is the same – although this is a flat +10 to range with no downsides. Typically, your barrel and ammo perks don’t matter on god rolls, but Fullbore and Accurized Rounds make a noticeable difference in the performance of this Brigand’s Law god roll. Ideally, your roll should have some range buffing perks in the first two columns, even if they’re not exactly the ones I’m recommending.
Brigand’s Law is an incredibly versatile weapon with a few good column three perks. Most players will probably opt for Pugilist here, and I 100% agree – provided you’re running a melee-based build like Void Hunter. If you’re not specing into your melee ability, then I would argue Feeding Frenzy is the best option here. Our fourth column perk is Voltshot, which is powered by reloads – something that Feeding Frenzy excels at, especially with the AD-clear that Voltshot brings to the weapon.
Getting five rapid kills with Feeding Frenzy will give Brigand’s Law +100 reload speed for three seconds. That’s very achievable with the Jolting effect that Voltshot gives the first bullet of each fresh mag. You should be able to chain Voltshot shots together very easily with this Brigand’s Law god roll.
This is my god roll preference, but it’s far from your only option. Column four can also roll with Swashbuckler and Demolitionist, both of which are also incredible. So, experiment if you’re not big on Arc and Voltshot.

My reasoning for using Full Bore and Accurized Rounds on this Brigand’s Law god roll remains the same – range. Range is far more important in PvP than PvE, so sacrificing these two is less than ideal.
Perpetual Motion isn’t ideal in the first column – but it’s our best PvP option by a fair margin. The perk kicks in after you’ve been moving for two seconds, then buffs itself when you’ve been moving for 10 seconds.
At tier one, Perpetual Motion will give you a +5 to stability, handling, and reload speed. At tier two, those buffs increase to +15 apiece. You always want to be moving in the Crucible, so these buffs should almost always be active.
Lastly, Rangefinder. Rangefinder has fallen off a bit in the META – but it’s still invaluable on short-range weapons like SMGs, hand cannons, and sidearms. With it, aiming down our sights will give us a 10% more zoom, and 30% higher aim assist falloff. It also gives us 10% faster projective speed.
This, combined with Full Bore and Accurized Rounds makes Brigand’s Law capable of taking some medium-range gunfights, although that’s not where you want to be with this weapon most of the time. Without them, though, you’ll find your options limited, and your effective map pool decreased while playing any sort of PvP game mode.
Brigand’s Law is a powerhouse in PvE simply because of its access to Voltshot. In PvP, it’s noticeably less effective, but still worth playing around with – especially if you like sidearms.
