Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon is the seasonal quest for Season of the Seraph. Like always, we’ll be getting drip-fed this quest, and this season’s story, through weekly quest updates. I’ll be going through More Than a Weapon every Tuesday, so whenever we get new quest steps, they’ll be added here.

Contents

Bungie is notoriously bad with how it words its quests and descriptions in Destiny 2, which is why I’ve put together this More Than a Weapon walkthrough. Don’t worry about figuring out what the game wants of you, I’ll tell you what you need to do in plain English, instead.

Keep in mind that there’s a small mission at the start of the season before you actually get the More Than a Weapon quest. You’ll be prompted to do this mission when you log into the game for the first time, so I won’t be going over that here (if you left that introductory mission before completing it – you can find it on Europa).

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon Walkthrough

More Than a Weapon Week 1

Step 1 – Speak to Mara Sov at the Holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 Mara Sov on the Holoprojector
Image via Bungie

This season looks like it’s shaping up to be super exposition heavy – so be ready to have a chat with anyone who’s anyone over the coming weeks.

Mara Sov is the first one to pop in for a chat, though. Rather than catching up with us on everything she missed over Season of Plunder, she instead wanted to kindly let us know that she’s always watching us and is aware of the current Rasputin situation.

Xivu Arath is the big bad this season. So, it only makes sense that Mara would be getting involved in some capacity. My hope is that we use her power to somehow launch Warsats into Xivu’s Throne World. That prediction is no better than fan fiction, though.

You’ll find the Holoprojector against the wall facing Rasputin/Clovis’ Exo-frame. You’ll be using this Holoprojector quite a bit throughout this season, so get comfortable with it.

Step 2 – Complete Heist Battleground: Moon

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon walkthrough - Heist Battleground: Moon.
Image via Bungie

Once Mara is done letting us know how superior she is to us, you’ll be tasked with completing one of this season’s new three-man activity – Heist Battlegrounds. More Than a Weapon step 2 specifically asks you to finish the Moon variation of the activity. So, make sure you launch that directly rather than the Battleground playlist in the H.E.L.M.

The Battleground Heist missions are admittedly a lot of fun. They’re not the most difficult thing in the world by any means. However, you will die in them if you’re not paying attention.

Step 3 – Obtain 500 Seraph Key Codes

Destiny 2 Seraph Key Codes in inventory.
Image via Bungie

After you finish your Heist Battleground: Moon, you’ll need to obtain 500 Seraph Key Codes. Seraph Key Codes are the seasonal currency for Season of the Seraph, much like Treasure Coordinates during Season of Plunder.

If you think back to Season of Plunder when we were asked to open a buried treasure at the end of an Expedition – this is essentially the same thing. We’ll probably have to repeat this step weekly. So, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try and stock up on Seraph Key Codes now.

Regular playlist Strikes give a little over 200 Key Codes per run. That’s likely the most efficient method of getting your hands on some quickly. However, they drop from all playlist activities. So, if you just play the game, you’ll rack up more than you could ever possibly need.

Step 4 – Unlock a Seraph Chest at the End of a Battleground Heist

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon walkthrough - Seraph Chest at the end of a Battleground.
Image via Bungie

Once you get your 500 Seraph Key Codes, you’ll need to use them to open up a Seraph Chest at the end of a Battleground Heist.

It’s important to note here that these chests only spawn in Battleground Heists launched from the playlist node in the H.E.L.M. rather than the individual missions. Don’t make the mistake I did of running the Moon version of the activity again – because you’ll get no chest.

The playlist version of the Heists is notably more difficult than the regular ones. Champions are present, and things are overall a bit tougher, but not overly difficult by any stretch of the imagination – especially with how powerful Guardians are in PvE right now.

The Seraph Chest spawns once the mission end timer appears, and they drop Season of the Seraph gear, so it’s in your best interest to open them whenever you can.

Step 5 – Complete Operation: Archimedes

Image via Bungie

Step five of this More Than a Weapon walkthrough asks you to complete what appears to be our weekly mission variant – Operation. Week one is Operation: Archimedes, but it’s likely we’ll have other variants each week going forward. However, the mission isn’t replayable much like Pirate Hideouts were, so keep that in mind.

Operation: Archimedes is anything but difficult, much like most seasonal content, so crack through the mission in whatever fashion you see fit, then return to the H.E.L.M.

Step 6 – Speak to Ana at the Holoprojector

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 6 Ana on the Holoprojector.
Image via Bungie

Back in the H.E.L.M., you need to speak with Ana Bray at the same Holoprojector as earlier. She’ll give you some more dialogue and exposition, and I’m personally all here for the snarky relationship developing between her and Clovis.

Plugging Clovis into Rasputin’s frame seems like a recipe for disaster, so I’m looking forward to seeing how that develops.

Step 7 – Speak with Clovis Bray

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 7 Clovis in Exo-frame.
Image via Bungie

Speaking of Clovis, once you’re done with Ana, do a 180 and interact with the Warmind Exo-frame to have a chat with him. You’ll get some more exposition, as well as a choice of three rewards for your troubles.

There’s nothing super important in these rewards, so pick whichever you want.

Step 8 – Listen to the Message on the Radio

Destiny 2 radio in the H.E.L.M.
Image via Bungie

After finishing up with Clovis, you’ll be prompted to listen to the radio beside the Holoprojector in the corner of the room.

We get these radio messages every season and they always add some fun background lore. Listening to this one is mandatory to progress More Than a Weapon, but it’s unlikely that you’ll have to listen to them in the following weeks. You can if you want, though,

More Than a Weapon Week 2

Step 10 – Return to Clovis in the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 10
Image via Bungie

Week two of this More Than a Weapon guide starts with some juicy family drama. You’ll be prompted to head to the Exo Frame. Once there, you’ll be met by Ana, Elsie, and Clovis all hashing it out. Elsie obviously isn’t happy that Grandad is back in town, and she makes her feelings known – fresh with what I think is a new voice actress.

I’ve been all in on the Elsie stuff since Destiny 1 – so it’s exciting to see her back again in some capacity. Here’s hoping she sticks around.

Step 11 – Speak to Clovis at the Exo Frame

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 11
Image via Bungie

After Elsie and Ana storm off, More Than a Weapon will update and you’ll need to speak with Clovis himself at the Exo Frame.

He brushes off Ana and Elsie, naturally, and informs you that Charlemagne has survived on Mars thanks to a time wound. If you haven’t been around long enough for that to mean anything – don’t sweat it. If you have, you’re going to love the new Battleground mission, and that’s what you’re doing next.

Step 12 – Complete Heist Battleground: Mars

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 12
Image via Bungie

Heist Battleground: Mars needs to be launched from its node within the Savathun’s Throne World Destination. It’s right next to the Enclave and Spire of the Watcher nodes.

This mission brings us back to the Warmind Facility on Mars – which is a massive throwback to anyone that played Warmind or Season of Arrivals.

Like the rest of the Heist Battleground missions, this is a stellar matchmade activity. It’s not the Playlist variant – so it’s not too tough. Get it done, and you’ll get to more on to More Than a Weapon step 13.

Step 13 – Collect 500 Seraph Key Codes

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 13
Image via Bungie

I say that, but chances are that most of you won’t even realize this is a step. You need to collect 500 Seraph Key Codes, which is the currency you use to open up Seraph Chests in Heist Battlegrounds. If you already have 500 in your inventory, this step autocompletes.

On the off chance you don’t have enough – just run some Strikes. You’ll get 500 after two or three runs, which is the number of completions you need for that weekly Pinnacle, anyways.

Step 14 – Open a Seraph Chest in the Heist Battlegrounds Playlist

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 14
Image via Bungie

Steps 13 and step 14 are going to be included in More Than a Weapons every single week, so get used to doing them.

Once you have 500 Seraph Key Codes, you’ll need to use them to open up a Seraph Chest at the end of a Heist Battleground.

This is self-explanatory enough. However, remember that Seraph Chests only spawn in the Playlist node variation of the Battlegrounds. This is the one you launch from the H.E.L.M. and is notably more difficult than the regular missions. Plan accordingly.

Step 15 – Complete Operation: Diocles

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 15
Image via Bungie

After doing your Battleground, it’s time to do this week’s weekly story mission. Like last week, this isn’t replayable, so savor it while it lasts. You’ll find the launch node for this mission in the H.E.L.M. Destinations map next to the Heist Battleground node.

We’re back at the Launch Control Facility. This time, though, the Hive has locked down the entrance, so we’ll need to take an alternative route. Little changes like this week-to-week are fine with me and help keep this mission fresh, even if this week’s boss is reused.

There’s nothing too difficult here – follow your objective marker through the mission until you reach the boss. Kill the boss, get your loot, and listen to Clovis’ excuse for not being able to decrypt the launch codes we acquired.

Step 16 – Speak to Ana on the Holoprojector in the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 16
Image via Bungie

After finishing Operation: Diocles, you’ll be done with the gameplay section of More Than a Weapon week two. Head back to the H.E.L.M. and speak with Ana at the Holoprojector. Once again, this projector is directly across from the Exo Frame.

Ana will reminisce about the past when she lived in the wilderness and wasn’t dealing with such world-ending variables. She’ll also mention how she’s preparing herself for the eventuality of Clovis’ betrayal, which got me thinking about how Clovis was seduced by the darkness before the collapse. How can we know he’s not working for the Witness?

Either way, listen to what she has to say or don’t.

Step 17 – Speak to Clovis at the Exo Frame

Destiny 2 More Than a Machine Step 17
Image via Bungie

After Ana finishes up, do a 180 and go speak with Clovis. You’ll get some more dialogue and a choice of reward. Pick your poison and you’re good to go.

Remember to complete your Seasonal Challenge for this week’s story quest steps. We’ve got access to Deepsight upgrades at the Exo Frame now, so redeem that as soon as you can.

More Than a Weapon Week 3

Step 19 – Speak with Clovis at the Exo Frame

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 19.
Image via Bungie

Like every other week of More Than a Weapon, week three kicks off with us heading to the H.E.L.M. for a chat with Clovis at the Exo Frame.

Clovis will explain that Elsie has agreed to oversee the mission to the Seraph Station – which is taking place this week. This mission likely won’t need to be repeated for future weeks of More Than a Weapon, as it’s this season’s Exotic quest. However, you will have to do it this week.

Prepare yourself for that, because it’s going to take a hot minute.

Step 20 – Collect 500 Seraph Key Codes

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 20.
Image via Bungie

Once again, this is pretty much a non-step for anyone that plays Destiny 2 beyond logging in each Tuesday for the story. If you don’t have 500 Seraph Key Codes – go get them. Otherwise, proceed to More Than a Weapon step 21.

Step 21 – Unlock a Seraph Chest

Seraph Chest unlocked.
Image via Bungie

Nothing new with this step – just launch Heist Battlegrounds from the H.E.L.M. and finish one. Once the Seraph Chest spawns at the end, unlock it and you’ll finish step 21.

Step 22 – Speak with Elsie at the Holoprojector

Elsie on the Holoprojector.
Image via Bungie

You’ve got a quick pit-stop back at the H.E.L.M. before you head off to do the Exotic quest. You’ll have a chat with Elise in preparation for this mission, so speak with her at the Holoprojector across from the Exo Frame. She’ll fill you in on some of the details you might be missing.

Step 23 – Complete Operation: Seraph’s Shield

Operation: Seraph's Shield node.
Image via Bungie

This Exotic mission is a lot of fun – but it’s long, especially if you haven’t done the quest before and are trying to figure everything out for yourself. Expect to spend upwards of an hour here in the worst-case scenario, so plan accordingly.

You can launch Operation: Seraph’s Shield from the H.E.L.M. and you should already have the Exotic quest “The Hidden Shape” at this point – which continues on after the mission.

If you’ve never played the Deep Stone Crypt raid before, you’re in for a rough time. This mission incorporates the raid’s three main mechanics: Operator, Scanner, and Suppressor. If you’ve used them before, you’ll instinctively know what you’re doing. If not, you’ll be in for some serious learning.

Either way, once you complete Operation: Seraph’s Shield, you’ll be a proud owner of the new Revision Zere Exotic Pulse Rifle, and one step closer to completing More Than a Weapon.

Step 24 – Speak to Clovis at the Exo Frame

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 24
Image via Bungie

You’re probably feeling fatigued after that Operation, especially if you did is solo. Thankfully, that was the last real step in More Than a Weapon week three. All you have to do now is head back to Clovis for a debrief, and you’re done!

More Than a Weapon Week 4

Step 26 – Speak with Clovis in the H.E.L.M.

Image via Bungie

Once again, we’re back with Clovis at the Exo Frame for week four of More Than a Weapon. This is an important week – potentially the most important since Witch Queen. What’s more, it’s got some of the best story beats of any seasonal weekly quest step. Ever.

If you’re not one for the story, I would still recommend you pay attention this week. You might be surprised by your reaction.

Not convinced? Well, all Clovis will tell you here is that Ana is working on a way to speed up Rasputin’s restoration, but that he’s not bothered by it. He then tasks you with retrieving more submind data.

At this point in More Than a Weapon, I was offered my first choice of the three Infiltrator gear upgrades from the third seasonal upgrade tree. I took Security Clearance, and I recommend you do, too.

Step 27 – Collect 500 Seraph Key Codes

Image via Bungie

To absolutely nobody’s surprise, step 27 in this More Than a Weapon guide is to collect 500 Seraph Key Codes. I had over 2000 at the start of this week, and I suspect many of you have more than that. In that case, you won’t even see this quest step.

If you don’t, go do some Strikes. You get 200+ per Strike, which can lead to some relatively efficient farming.

Step 28 – Open a Seraph Chest in Heist Battlegrounds

Image via Bungie

Again, as usual, you’ll need to use those 500 Seraph Key Codes to unlock a Seraph Chest at the end of a Heist Battlegrounds mission. Make sure you’re launching Battlegrounds from the H.E.L.M. node, and that you’re actually opening the chest at the end of the mission.

Step 29 – Speak with Ana at the Holoprojector

Image via Bungie

Once you finish collecting the submind data from the Battleground, things will start to get very interesting. First, you’ve got to head back to the H.E.L.M. to speak with Ana.

She’ll give you some pretty interesting dialogue, but the big takeaway is that we need access to Felwinter’s Ghost, Felspring.

Any of you that know your lore, or were around for Rise of Iron in Destiny 1, should be excited by this news. Felwinter was an Exo Warlock Iron Lord that was created by Rasputin. According to Ana, his Ghost has data that could dramatically increase the speed at which Rasputin is repairing itself. So, naturally, you’re sent off to get it.

Step 30 – Complete Operation: Son of Saturn

Image via Bungie

Operation: Son of Saturn doesn’t have much gameplay, but the story implications and reveals are massive. You can launch the mission from the Cosmodrome, and it takes you back to the Iron Temple from Destiny 1, and Destiny 2‘s multiplayer.

I’m going to do what I can to avoid spoilers, but we get a cutscene at the end of this mission, and there’s more talking than fighting in the mission itself – so that should indicate what kind of experience Bungie wants you to get from this.

Again, even if you’re not a story person – please pay attention to this mission and cutscene. It’s going to play a larger role moving into the future of Season of the Seraph and Lightfall.

Step 31 – Return to Clovis in the H.E.L.M.

Image via Bungie

After the bombshell you’re left with at the end of Operation: Son of Saturn, you’ll be instructed to return to Clovis at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M.

Once there, you’ll be greeted to an encounter between Ana, Elsie, and Clovis. Again, for the sake of avoiding spoilers – I’m not going to tell you what happens here. However, it changes how the rest of the Season of the Seraph’s story is going to play out, so it’ll be unavoidable to talk about the resolution of this step in the future.

Step 32 – Speak with Ana on the Holo

Image via Bungie

After everything goes down between Ana and Clovis, you’ll need to speak with Ana on the Holoprojector just behind you. You’ll get a little bit more dialogue setting up the future of the season, as well as some quality character development for Ana herself.

Step 33 – Speak with the Exo Frame

Image via Bungie

Step 33 of More Than a Weapon was weird for me. Shortly after starting the quest this week, I got the Weasel error code. So, when I went back to the Frame here, I was prompted to take my Infiltrator upgrade again despite having already taken it at the start of this week’s steps. If this happens to you, just take the Security Clearance upgrade again and think nothing of it.

Most of you won’t encounter that error, though. So, just speak with the Frame and get your reward for this week. You’ll also get the next quest step in the Revision Zero weekly quest.

More Than a Weapon Week 5

Step 35 – Speak with Rasputin in the H.E.L.M.

More Than a Weapon step 35
Image via Bungie

There’s no beating around the bush with spoilers this week, so head to Rasputin in the H.E.L.M. when you’re ready to start week five of More Than a Weapon.

There’s honestly not much to do this week. After the bombshell that was week four, we needed a good low-key set of steps to break up the pacing and the action before we move into week six and start finalizing that push toward Lightfall. This is that set of steps.

Rasputin isn’t going to say anything too important to kick off this week. You’re just going to get some more of the usual exposition explaining why you need to keep doing the thing you’re doing – in this case Heist Battlegrounds.

Finish up your chat with him and you’ll have the option to choose the second of your three Infiltrator upgrades. Personally, I took Security Clearance last week and Tactical Armor this week. You can do what you want, though – I’m not the upgrade police.

Step 36 – Speak with Osiris at the Holoprojector

More Than a Weapon step 36
Image via Bungie

After kicking the week off with Rasputin, you’ll need to do a 180 to speak with Osiris on the Holoprojector just behind you.

The entire purpose of this rare one-on-one chat with Grandpa is to remind us that yes – Lightfall is in fact a thing that’s happening in the future, and don’t you forget it.

All season long, Osiris has been on the hunt for Neomuna in the background, and this interaction serves as a way for him to update us on his progress.

Step 37 – Collect 500 Seraph Key Codes

More Than a Weapon step 37
Image via Bungie

With the opening dialogue out of the way, you’ll once again have that little set of steps that makes up the gameplay portion of most weeks during Season of the Seraph.

Needless to say, you’re going to need 500 Seraph Key Codes. If you don’t have that many yet – go get them. If you do, ignore this step entirely.

Step 38 – Open a Seraph Chest

More Than a Weapon step 38
Image via Bungie

With at least 500 Seraph Key Codes in your back pocket, it’s time to skip and hop into a Heist Battleground.

This is nothing you haven’t done countless times before at this point – launch the node from the H.E.L.M. and open the Seraph chest at the end of the mission.

If you’ve only been doing Heist Battlegrounds for the story mission this season, then you’re missing out. Not only are they remarkably challenging and a lot of fun, but you’re going to get a ton of rewards from those Seraph chests, including red borders.

Step 39 – Speak to Elsie at the Holoprojector

More Than a Weapon step 39
Image via Bungie

After opening a Seraph chest, you’re officially done with all of the gameplay this week. All that’s left is some dialogue to close things out. I told you it was a low-key week.

First up on your list for a coffee date is Elsie. She’ll trauma-dump all over you, explaining how she’s worried that Ana is going to end up like her Grandfather, and that she doesn’t want to have to stop her. That’s pretty important wording, implying that she would if it ever came to that – which I’m sure it did in alternative futures.

All of this familial drama between Ana, Elsie, and Clovis has been really good so far this season. I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops moving into the climax before Lightfall.

Step 40 – Speak with Rasputin in the H.E.L.M.

More Than a Weapon step 40
Image via Bungie

After Elsie is done with you, head to the Exo Frame to give Rasputin his time to shine. I really, really love the way Rasputin’s character is shaping up. I’m a sucker for all the religious visual motifs and themes that Season of the Seraph is utilizing with regard to our resident AI, and this dialogue really helped hammer that fact home.

Rasputin compares himself to Xivu Arath, contemplating the fact that he’s a War God of our own design. He resolves to do what he couldn’t in the past, and stop Xivu, but I can’t help but feel like there’s so much more to explore in terms of the almost god-like reverence we’ve put on the Warmind.

If you’re like me, you’ll eat all this stuff up with a knife and fork. If you’re not, then don’t worry about the dialogue. Just choose your reward for this week and go off on your way – there’s not much road left ahead.

More Than a Weapon Week 6

Step 42 – Speak with Rasputin at the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 42.
Image via Bungie

This is the second last week of More Than a Weapon, meaning we’ve got some story beats to get through before the season’s big climax pre-Lightfall.

Before all that, though, you’ll need to pop over to the H.E.L.M. for another weekly chat with everyone’s favorite sentient weapon of mass destruction.

Rasputin is going to talk to you about laying waste to the Wrathborn, and that’ll set up an interesting plot twist a couple of steps down the line. For now, keep it in the back of your head and work on getting through this week – there’s not a lot of gameplay, but we do have a cutscene to watch.

Step 43 – Collect 500 Seraph Key Codes

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 43.
Image via Bungie

You should know how this goes by now. If you don’t have 500 Seraph Key Codes, go out and get them. If you do, skip ahead to step 44 of More Than a Weapon.

Step 44 – Open a Seraph Chest in Heist Battlegrounds

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 44.
Image via Bungie

Just like every other week, you’ll need to take your 500 Seraph Key Codes and use them to unlock a Seraph Chest at the end of a Heists Battleground. Again, you know how this works by now.

Step 45 – Revisit the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 45.
Image via Bungie

After getting through this week’s obligatory gameplay section, you’ll be instructed to head back to the H.E.L.M.

You’re not actually going to be doing anything in there, but you will be witness to a rare face-to-face interaction between Mara Sov, Rasputin, and Osiris. These are three of the most powerful beings in the Destiny universe – at least from our perspective, so this was cool to see.

During this conversation, Mara is going to drop a bombshell on you. Xivu Arath has been weird with her troops – and Mara’s Techeuns have deduced that all of the skirmishes and attacks she’s led have been a part of a big elaborate ritual. They believe that Xivu Arath is feeding her worm – which we know feeds on war and destruction, and relying on that rather than a full-scale invasion.

This means that even if we wipe her forces out, her worm will feast on those ashes and give her the kind of power that makes Oryx look docile. We don’t want to deal with that – meaning Rasputin is going to have to hold off on using those Warminds of his.

I’m not sure how I feel about Rasputin’s response to this, though. He’s unsure how to proceed and is struggling to calculate for this scenario. Now, I know we’re giving Rasputin some character and inner struggles and that’s all great, but he’s a super AI war machine. Surely if Mara’s Techeuns could figure this plan out, Rasputin would have accounted for it already? Who am I to criticize, though?

Step 46 – Report to Zavala’s Office for an Emergency Vanguard Meeting

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 46.
Image via Bungie

Following on from that meeting of the minds in the H.E.L.M. you’ll be instructed to attend a Vanguard meeting in Zavala’s Office in the Tower. It’s rare that we have a reason to head to that part of the Tower, so this is always nice to see.

You can follow your objective marker on the map to get there – but if you take the elevator behind the Gunsmith to the bottom floor and then go left – you’ll be right in front of the office.

Once there, you’ll be given a prompt to “hold E” to start the meeting. Do that, and you’ll be treated to a cutscene of all the colation leaders.

The long and short of this cutscene is that we’re going to restore the Warminds, but not use them – which is a fine strategy. However, are there no other options to explore? Rasputin mentioned that he froze an entire Hive brood at one point during some dialogue. Assuming that this freezing didn’t kill them, surely he can focus on that kind of pacification instead of flat-out destruction? Again, though, who am I to criticize?

Step 47 – Speak to Rasputin in the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 47.
Image via Bungie

Either way, finish up this cutscene and you’ll be automatically loaded back into the H.E.L.M.

From here, all you have to do is have one more chat with Rasputin to finish up week six of More Than a Weapon. There’s only one week’s worth of quest steps left, and Lightfall drops after that – so we’ve got a lot to look forward to.

More Than a Weapon Week 7

Step 49 – Speak with Rasputin in the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 49.
Image via Bungie

We’re finally at the end of the road for More Than a Weapon. It’s been a ride – certainly better than Sails of the Shipstealer from Season of Plunder.

There’s honestly not much to do this week, which is a shame. However, we do still have the seasonal climax to look forward to on the second last week of the season before Lightfall.

To start off week seven, you’re heading back to the H.E.L.M. for another chat with Rasputin. He’ll actually confide in you and ask that you retrieve some documents of a sensitive nature for him. After you complete your weekly chores, of course.

Step 50 – Speak with Ana on the Holoprojector

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 50.
Image via Bungie

After speaking with Rasputin, Ana will hop onto the Holoprojector for what I thought would be another regular conversation. Instead, she’s just going to go ahead and start questioning the ethics of artificial intelligence and the morality of giving a weapon of mass destruction sentience. It’s all heavy stuff, so don’t expect a cup of tea and an ol’ chat.

Step 51 – Collect Seraph Key Codes

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 51.
Image via Bungie

Once Ana and Rasputin finish killing your vibe for the day, you’ll be thrown right into the weekly housekeeping duties you’ve come to know, and tolerate, at this point.

You’ll first be tasked with collecting 500 Seraph Key Codes.

Step 52 – Open a Seraph Chest

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 52.
Image via Bungie

You’ll then be asked to bring those Key Codes into a Heist Battlegrounds run, where you’ll use them to open a Seraph Chest. You already know how this goes, at this point.

Step 53 – Complete Operation: Sancus in the Cosmodrome

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 53.
Image via Bungie

Now it’s time to finally collect that sensitive data Rasputin was talking about. We don’t know the specificities of what it is, but it’s being decrypted and then handed over to the Vanguard – so, chances are that Neomuna’s coordinates are on the drive that we retrieve here.

It’ll likely come back into play during the final mission of the season to lead us into Lightfall. It’s nice for a season to have story relevance again.

Step 54 – Speak with the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M.

Destiny 2 More Than a Weapon step 54.
Image via Bungie

Collect the drive from the original Super Shank bunker in the Cosmodrome, then return it to Rasputin the H.E.L.M.

That marks the last step in More Than a Weapon, so congratulations on making it through! Now, all we’ve got to do is sit on our hands until Lightfall comes.
